They pay twice that much for booze tailgating before even GOING to the game, much less what is spent
on after-game parties.
By the way- it used to be that “tail-gating” had a totally different meaning back when I went to school!

Haven't seen that kind of DEFENSE since the 3 "Meeks" 3-Peat. What we all saw was a TOTAL TEAM DEFENSIVE effort that brought us a National Championship!
TREMENDOUS EFFORT by Nickie and Little Bit. WAY TO STEP UP, Girls!
A tear of joy came to my cheek with about 5 min. to go in the game. This year, for me, was so frustrating to watch because I KNEW they could be better than they were. Tonight my frustrations came to an end.

It's time to play some "HUNKER DOWN" - "IN YOUR FACE DEFENSE", Ladies!
The fact was, when Candace was out for a period of time, everyone stepped up and contributed - defensively and offensively. When need that kind of effort when she is ON THE FLOOR as well as when she is on the bench.
If we get after it like we know we can do, we won't have any problems. It is going to take a big effort from ALL to bring home another NC, but we can do it!
INTENSITY + DESIRE + DICIPLINE = NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

Great season - Great job Team - Great job Coach Pearl and Staff.
We learn from our mistakes and strive to do better in Preperation, Prepardness and in Performance.
This year will make us stronger - maybe not in physical ability but in CHARACTER. We got a taste of what Could Be. Lets strive to achive what is Yet To Come. Our Goal is still out there. We need to look forward with positive attitude's by Fans, Teammates and Coaches.

One of the first steps in winning a game is having the right attitude -- a WINNING attitude. Going into a game with confidence and a right attitude is crutial in achieving a positive outcome and result. The Vols appear to be approaching this game with the Cards in the right way, being confident that they will succeed and move on--survive and advance, as they say.
Coach Pearl has exhibited and has instilled this attitude in this team. NOW is the time to prove to the nay-sayers that we are truly worthy of what we have and WILL accomplish. We are all behind you, guys! GO BIG ORANGE!

The Ladies finally played like the "Lady Vols" of days past - with DEFENSE, aggression and the "Put Em Away" type attitude. They were the BEST TEAM in the tournament tonight. Keep up the effort, Ladies, and another NCAA Championship Banner will be raised over the "Summitt"!
