Tebow , Play QB in the NFL ? Don't think so . Lets start with how many QB's in the NFL take
98% of their snaps in the shot gun ? none . The one thing NFL scouts look for is how fast a QB can take a snap and whip it to the side line , before the line and the corner can react, in four year I have seen Tebow do that .Why because he can't . Tebow is a timing QB . That might work well with a good line and in the college ranks , But unless he's got the patriots line he is going to get the flue knocked out of him Time after time , How many time do you think he will get away with the tuck and run in the NFL ?. And last , I have heard about Jacksonville wanting him , but trust me Tebow will be nothing but a Novelty act and PR guy if he wants to play QB.

Lol! Vol fans, the NCAA/SEC is after Kiffin and company because he started his reign at UT with 6 secondary violations in a little over a MONTH. Not, 6 months, not nine months like the other schools. He did in a little over ONE month. Consistently commiting secondary violations will lead to the NCAA handing down a MAJOR infraction. It shows a disregard for the rules. You can not have that many secondaries that fast without it turning into a major. And the fact that the violations happened at this time of the year last year, and it looks like it is happening again, is the real reason the witchunt is on. Coach Kiffin put the target on his back as soon as he took the job. This outcome was inevitable.

Oh, and to those of you who put down other teams from the league, claiming the Florida's and Alabama's and Georgia's won't be any good next season, look in our own backyard! We have ISSUES next year all over the field. We have no idea how good or bad the Vols will be. This team is still 2 or 3 recruiting classes away from being comfortable enough depth wise to think UT is on the same level as the top teams in the SEC.

I am disapointed with the results of recruiting from this staff. I know we got a lot with very little this past year, but we are already losing coaches to rivals/recruiting rivals, we had a high number of violations, and I'm just waiting for the next piece of bad news regarding either one.

I am glad we have Coach Kiffin, but can we not be a little sharper?

It's a funky way that the Outback, Cotton and Chick-fil-A are selected.

First, the Capital One has to take the available team with the best overall record or a team within one of the best overall record. LSU has the best overall record outside of Florida and Alabama and the only other team eligible would be Ole Miss. I can't see any other scenario other than LSU in the Capital One.

The next three picks are coordinated with the league office. There is a preference for the Outback to take a team from the East and the Cotton a team from the West. The question is whether the Cotton would be happy with Ole Miss going there for the 2nd year in a row.

Another question is whether the Chick-Fil-A would want Georgia or an out-of-state team.

Ole Miss has a better overall record than Georgia and Tennessee but that is because they played no one out-of-conference while Georgia played Tech and OK State and Tennessee played UCLA.

If I had to bet, I would expect the Outback to pick Tennessee and then the Cotton to pick Georgia which would put Ole Miss in the Chick-Fil-A. However, the league could persuade the Outback to take Georgia as a favor to the Cotton which would probably rather have the Vols against Nebraska.

We'll know soon enough.

You know I was thinking the same thing. Every championship team/season has that moment where luck/fate/chance come into play. Even the most ardent Bama fan would admit that the chances of one guy blocking two field goals in a single game for the win are fairly slim to nonexistent. And yet, we all saw it. If they do win it all, they will look back to that play and laugh, knowing that by all rights they should have lost that game.
