Which By the way I don't blame his unproductive career on him all the way. I think he was really underused. He probably could have had better stats than Chris Brown if given the chance. Seemed like he moved a little better after the catch.

yea i didnt mean he was a big bust in the NFL... I meant Brad Cottam went pro, although he had a very unproductive career at UT. Sorry didn't know i had to spell it out for you.

Great another local prospect....We need this like Phil needs a bacon sandwich....
2003
Phillip Tritapoe- wow who?
Brad Cottam -Went pro but very unproductive career
Antonio gaines-Dont remember too much about him
Bo hardegree-Career backup Switched to Tennis i think.
Steven Jones-Who?
2004
Demonte Bolden-Biggest dissapointment in years
Britton Colquitt- Dont have a problem with this signing.
Ramon Foster- Nor this one.
David holbert-He was a fullback.
Ryan Karl-Decent Felt like someone could have been starting over him though.
Ellix Wilson-Yet to make an impact but I do like him.
2005
Jeff Cottam- 4 catches 19 yards 2007
Todd Cox- Once again Who?
Darius Myers- Huge. Hasnt stepped on the field yet though(I dont think)
Austin Rogers- Most overrated WR in Tennessee in a while. (Couldnt find the Drops Stat)
Dan Williams- Played a little last year
2006
Blake Garretson-Might have been kicked off the team? Or practice squad
Dustin Lindsey- Couldnt quiet makes the grades
Lee Smith- DUI or something?
Jacques Mcclendon- SOlid Player
2007
Anthony anderson-Will never see the field
Todd Campbell- never will either.
Chris Donald-Still hoping he will be great.
Cory hall- Might be a career backup
Josh Hawkins- Never see the feild
Tyler Maples- Had a great orange and white game. Might be the extent of his career.
Rae Sykes-Dunno if he ever enrolled?
Rogan- So far so good.
So thats a list on rivals. As you can see only about 5 or 6 of these instaters have made an impact.
Go to espn.com and look at the roster theres about 25 locals that don't have a number yet. Didnt feel like i needed to list them.
Theres also a few JR and SR locals that weren't on rivals but I have never heard of.
Cool so hopefully Phil sees this and sends the recruiting squad to Florida, Cali, Georgia, Texas.

Vol in Lsu...... that makes no sense? You're saying that you would rather have worse players as long as they are here to make the grade? I understand they should go to class simply because they are supposively like every other student at the school. Although every other student doesn't make the school millions and millions of dollars and not receive any money back. You swell with pride when they play for UT and make the grade... Imagine how much you would swell if we had players that could beat Florida 59-20 every year.
Im not saying its totally the right thing for them not to focus on school... I know they should, I'm just saying in this day and age theres not that many players that can have a 3.8 and be a star football player. Reason being all these kids at the (Bad behavior) schools are working out 24/7 getting faster and stronger while our guys are sitting in the classroom. Is it right? No. But thats how it is.

And he's on the defensive side of the ball... (besides punts) thats another example.. Can we run a spread and just throw a screen to him... i bet he could make something happen.

Ibleed. So you don't really care about the kid getting the education as long as hes eligible to play right? I think i see where your coming from... Really if they reduced our number of scholarships it wouldnt since we waste about 5 a year on homegrown prospects that are never going to amount to anything. haha
No but in all seriousness you have to admit that education is not the main idea in the football players, coaches, and fans heads. He can say thats number one in this interview but its probably not the case. Ive never heard a fan say yea hes good but you think hes making good grades?
Anyways im with touchdown Florida has too much talent this year... too many players back and too many recruits.
The problem i have with phil is that it seems like we dont get the ball in the playmakers hands like meyer does. Dont get me wrong, i can't stand even looking at the guy on the side lines (Meyer) ... but he does get the ball in the playmakers hands. We dont. its simple. Kenny Oniel ran a 4.26 i believe I dont care if he couldnt even talk we can say hey outrun the db and Erik is going to throw it as far as he can you go catch it.

IBleedOrange. Your cool because you can block out cuss words. I know deep down inside you couldn't care less if this guy gets a degree but you do care if he catches 10 touchdowns a year. You can talk like that all you want to so you look good on here. Its just a fact the majority of fans could not care less what these athletes do in class. Your right is mom and dad told him education matters im sure they did... Thats because they care about him. But seriously if this guy is catching 60 + passes a year and 1000 yards a year do you care what grade he gets in statistics? No.

WorkinLikeHeck must have been pantsed one too many times... whatever pantsed is. Now he likes to call out the team that loses every game haha. I love how no matter the outcome some gets pantsed.

Gerald Williams.... One i've been lookin forward to seeing on the field for years... Hopefully we will keep him at LB or DE and not make him gain 40 lbs and move to DT
On Vols' interest in Jackson picks up
