Turbofan - because PPV isn't network TV. It's on a local feed basis, and there isn't enough revenue coming out of a broadcast base to get them to cahnge it. However, if ESPN wanted to show that game @ 11:00am - GUARANTEED ole Mikey would not hesitate to put the fans out to be sure ESPN got what they wanted.

TV is the reason for these ridiculous game times in the heat. The money TV brings to the schools makes whores out of them, and they don't care how much they inconvenience fans, band members, or players. As long as they get the TV money and exposure and let TV dictate starting times, it'll be this way.

Not unrealistic, Greensboro, just realistic. These are SUPPOSED to be young adults, and, just for yuor info, they are CONSTANTLY warned about "living in a fishbowl" at this level, so, no, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect better of young men than to be good citizens and APPRECIATE the chance they've been given and RESPECT the law and their school. Maybe YOU were a brat, and maybe still are.

Agree with PLEASEGETRID @ 11:21pm and khelton657. To not have any off-field incidents for 5 months and crow about it isn't saying much for disipline.

It was once 9 1/3 scholys the baseball team could give. Not sure how many now, but that's why so many players on the baseball team are involved in other sports.

Why is it that us laypeople can see these obvious problems and the people that are supposedly the "football professionals" like the coaches and Hamilton can't see them?? Or is it they do, but are too stubborn or pigheaded to admit it??
