Glad to not read those dreaded letters, "ACL".

Angie should be big for us this year, and if not we will still love her.

Ironcity I never said a thing about any death being of any greater or lesser importance.

My point is that not only has this young man decided to drink and drive, he has chosen to leave teh scene after running into another vehicle. All this after already haveing been thru another alcohol related incident that resulted in reduced sentences, going to AA, and embracing a Christian lifestyle.

What has he learned from these experiences? Or anyone else learned? That with some time and decent lawyer, he gets a pass once again.

This is about far more than a better than average Punter on the Football Team, it is about the overall environment of safety at UT, and everywhere else for that matter. Alcohol and vehicles don't mix well, and when taken to any excess result in diaster.

If, heaven forbid he runs over and kills someone while under the influence next month, or next year we will all look back and say, "we all saw this coming". If it happens on Campus UT is gonna get its butt sued off, and it is unfortunate that is what it takes to resolve these issues.

Of course he won't be driving on Campus because he has no license and it is illegal to drive now. But then everything else in these incidents were illegal as well, and those didn't stop him.

Welllll Jolleyyyyyyyy GerryOP,

If no Client Therapist releationship exists, Individual or Professional Ethics dosen't attach. Let me see if I remember how to say this, "It appears you may be intellectually challanged, and have issues with Self".

And misspelling his name does in fact show just how little I do care about him. He may be a great person, but great people still run over innocent folks, when they are Intoxicated and not up to their usual level of greatness.

cj, it took effect about 15 years ago, new rulings have reinforced it, as some judges completely disregarded it.

Oh I'vemade my mistakes, and will make more. However Age and the wisdom gained after nine years od working as a Therapist in a Substance Abuse Rehab really brings out the best and worst in the thought process.

Ironcity, I must not be the only one that doesn't believe in due process. The state of Tennessee is about to enact legislation that will remove your driving priveledge as soon as you are charged. Just as many states already have. IT seems this cuts down on repeat offenders prior to trial, and results in fewer alcohol related traffic accidents. Also cuts down all the postponements at trial. I have nothing against Briton, he is just another alcohol abusive student at UT. However it does seem he, who has so much to lose, doesn't have the sense to not get caught.

Briton has the financial backing that negates his loseing his scholarship, probably well over 50% of the players would have to have left UT if they had lost their Scholly.

And thank those of you that are so concerned about me!!!! My Estrogen is well regulated thanks to the to the "Patch", I don't take or make cell phone calls while driving, and if you are in the fast lane running 60 mph, I'm the big Bumper and Grill in your Rear view mirror that proabaly seems much closer than you would like.

GO VOLSSSSSSSSSSS!

99Gator nothing wrong about your 2:34 Post, surely GOd can be found somewhere besides Holding Cells and Drunk Tanks.

State of Tennessee says that more than ten years must seperate DUIs for both to be considered first offenses. Britton has now benefited from both being plead down.

And Britton has had a license and has been driving around every sense he was arrested for this incident. 3000 to 6000 pounds of rolling steel, alcohol, and a young person set on partying is not a good combination.

For those that will accuse me of wanting blood from Briton, I don't care about him, or this incident with him involved. If you drive on the Campus and are stopped and charged with DUI or any other Alcohol related incident while operating a Motor Vehicle, you should be dismissed from the University. At best possibly not be able to ever operate a car on the Campus again.

Does anyone think it is OKay to Drink and Drive in this Country? Does anyone in the State of Tennessee not know that they can't drink under age 21? Not if they have a Drivers License issued in Tennessee, and I wouild venture any other state in the US.

UT and the Court system need to send a strong message to all students on this matter. It is far better to send that message to students, as send students to Funerals.

I wonder what message GOd will be sending to the Student that gets run over, maimed or killed by a drunk on Campus?

Surely God will meet them at teh Pearly Gates and thank them for being a,"Great Training Aid in sending a Message to a Drunk Driver". Can ya see the Tombstone? "God so loved me that he let me be killed so the Team Punter could learn a lesson,,hopefully"

First DUI in Tennessee has a mandantory 48 hours in Jail on it. THe Law says this is mandantory and can't be substituted, with litter picker, or anything else.

I have nothing against Dustin, but this is another case of Money/Lawyer getting around the law.

It is all good!

I'm probably spoiled, but I would have really liked to see a 43% Three Ball Shooter surface in the PRTL. At teh same time it appears that we have players that will take it inside and drive the posts players crazy.

With Negedu and Woolridge still to be added to the mix, who knows maybe we will not need the three ball as much. With slashers they do collapse the defenders into the low post, and that opens the 12 foot jump shots up.

Pulling Guard, Fulmer is the National Spokesman for the Jason Foundation. A role he sought out, and is very active in.

The Jason foundation helps combat and educate people on Teen Suicide. CPF has been a tremendous spokesman, and his name recognition has significantly helped raise funds.

I understand the Gator fans hating on this. I mean even with Tebow, the Hiesman Winner, they couldn't win their Bowl Game, or even the SEC East.

TO the rest of you I will say this, we all remember Payton Manning and Payton was teh Chit. However Tee Martin stepped in the next year and we got our First NC in a long time, first undefeated season in I don't know how long, and the First BCS Championship ever.

Can we at least let Crompton fall on his face before we discard him??? He is a Junior, and I think he redshirted a year. It isn't like Ainge was the second comming of Payton!

On Berry, McCoy, Foster, Crompton on watch lists
