"Boyd is a significant loss in terms of his recruiting stature"
How can it be a significant loss if he doesn't fit the system. Smart move let him know up front and do not waist a scholarship.

First, no one will doubt my loyality to the VOLS, especially you. someone who does not know how far and wide i travel to support Vols. If you no nothing from me, my post are always the program first and never settle for second. I am also aware that we have a young inexperienced team that will need to learn to play at a higher level to succeed and this loss will make them work harder. If you don't win in TB, and build a resume there will not be a sweet 16 or better run. The two wins we did have are resume builders. If you're going to call someone out you need to know the facts, cause there is no team going undefeated. GO VOLS and you PI$$ off!!

And remeber Kiffin 5 wins and losing season 2 out last 4 yrs are ok for the "Fans" of the previous coach so you should be safe. They didn't think a change was needed. Go VOLS!

Nice showing in the tourney. To many turn overs and not enough rebounds, we looked out of sync. Wait til they get aload of Thompson-boiling arena. We'll rock thier world. GO VOLS!!

Kiffin was not my first choice but you could put a head set and sweater vest on broom stick and would have supported the hire. I have traveled a many weary miles following the Vols to watch the fans in the parking lot have more fight than our team.

When you talk to someone making history please share; you are speaking like you know how the players feel. I did not see them carry “chief” of the field. Most Pro coaches who are successful do not take a step down for the love of college ball so yes that was the point just because one does not succeed in pro's does not reflect his ability to coach at college. You brought up the one failure at ND not me to prove your fact less point. You were talking about recruiting and I gave you the facts. Deal with it it’s not 1998 and we had to move on. GO VOLS!!
On Monte Kiffin will be Tennessee’s next defensive coordinator

Correction, Fulmer did not set the standard at UT, it was set 50 yrs before he was coach not born. GO VOLS!!
On Monte Kiffin will be Tennessee’s next defensive coordinator
