Tennessee only has one recruit for 2009. That might grow to two since Daniel West is out now, but no one is going to have a top class with just one recruit.

Rocky Top is not the official Tennessee fight song. Fight Vols Fight is the fight song. The band plays it as they're forming the "T" before Tennessee runs through the "T." When Tennessee runs through the "T" they play Down The Field. Fight Vols Fight and Down the Field are great fight songs and go great together, but they're rarely played.
If you listen the band also plays the fight song right after we score, immediately before they play Rocky Top.

If you take the paper you'll see that it's in the Home & Garden section, not sports. It's govolsxtra because it's about Bruce Pearl, who happens to be the Tennessee basketball coach.

BSweet --- when someone says Fulmer is Tennessee Football I don't think they mean Fulmer alone is Tennessee Football. He is one of many that can and should be considered "Tennessee Football."

I agree murrayvol. I'm glad for the new beginning, but also very sad. I kept hoping Fulmer would find the right button to push and everything would be fixed, but it just never happened.

Just a little info, in case someone hasn't seen it.
Phillip Fulmer out at Tennessee ... but Boyd remains committed
Two days after Phoebus quarterback Tajh Boyd committed to Tennessee, reports are out all over the place that Volunteers coach Phillip Fulmer has agreed to step down at the end of the season. An official announcement is supposed to come later today.
Does this change anything for Boyd, who on Saturday said he had been told no coaching changes were imminent? According to Phantoms coach Bill Dee, the answer is no. Boyd remains committed to the Vols, who fell to 3-6 with Saturday night’s loss at South Carolina.
Commitments are just that – commitments – which means either side has some leeway. But as of now, the official word from Phoebus is that Tajh Boyd remains a Volunteer.

My parents live in Memphis. My dad just called me and told me this same thing. Tennessee and Kiffin have made a deal. Kiffin has his staff just about ready to go and Ed Orgeron (I guess I spelled that right) is going to be the defensive co-ordinator. Just a little bit more to flame the rumor mill fire.
On Quarterback situation still muddled
