Since "Bama Dave" and "Gator Cheeks" are only bent on sabotaging UT sports, forget it until they are canned. Coach Martin is fully aware that going to the NIT will not cut it next year. These late season teases, and not making it to the Big Dance will eventually get you fired!
The Tide and The Gators have NO coaches on their staffs that are alums. IMO it's all about the head coach putting together a staff that is accountable, and WINS!!!!

Now he will be replaced by a mid-west big east coach to help round out the "Best staff in America". Meanwhile auburn hires rodney garner and Damain Graig and scores a top 10 recruiting class. Face it fellow vols fans our UT Administration is not serious about being competitive in the SEC. I will say again we are not ready to play big boy sec football and until we are we will continue to lose money.

The majority of their players in all sports slip into the school through Peabody and their degree reads degree from Peabody Univ. at Vanderbilt. That shouldn't take a rocket scientist to understand, Franklin is pushing Peabody to these athletes who can't get into some other college. I personally know of several kids there now attending Peabody and not Vanderbilt simply because they can't get into Vanderbilt. Some of these athletes are happy to take a road of less resistance. So when referring to Vanderbilt, it should be Peabody.

Peabody is the "college of education" at Vandy. I believe very few of the athletes in football & basketball are pursuing a teaching degree. But if they are...it's one of the nations leading education departments.
Pat has to be upset that the Lady Vols GPA is below 3.0.

Not saying he won't be successful in the NFL, but he needs to go. Leadership, attitude, and character is lacking, and the new coach certainly doesn't need that in his QB. JMO...GO VOLS!!!

Fulmer had numerous chances to hire Jones, and he didn't. Does Wilson have a college degree?

Chris Mortensen reported on 104.5 The Zone in Nashville last week that he estimates Gruden makes between 10 - 20 million annually from ESPN, outside camps-broadcasting, and NFL Madden Football. If true, how can a university even think about matching that kind of money? I doubt he could keep his Madden endorsement as a college coach. Please don't tell me money doesn't make a difference!!

JMO, but Bray does not possess the leadership, poise, maturity, & mental toughness that an elite college QB needs to have. After three years at U.T. he is what he is!
