i go with every UNDERDOG -- heck fire shake up the whole SEC & i DO NOT like LSU, but -- do you want bama in the #1 spot, plus a chance to stay there? it's a hard call ain't it? what do you do when you dispise both?

On SEC matchups for Saturday

i suppose for SOME of the players sake -- a decent bowl match-up would be in order -- i think IF we beat USC & win out the rest -- i could go along with that. you know it's more for the players than the fans -give the young men a chance to ENJOY going somewhere during the holidays and finish/start the season on a WINNING note, but only if we win out!! as always-- GO VOLS!!

On Vols hardpressed to keep bowling

GO DUKE GO! ROCK ON COACH CUTCLIFFE! you may be our "former"coach, but we still love you! it just hurts a little u'r not still here! i'm sure somewhere in there you still have some orange in you!

On Duke hurts Vanderbilt's bowl hopes, 10-7

i have always been "last" to call for the coach's job after a poor start, year whatever -- @ one time coach fulmer had the right people around him & obviously players to be "WINNERS" -- i'm afraid it's very appropriate that in the best interest of the BIG ORANGE & himself -- it's time to go i mean GO! i'm even of the mind he should go ahead and resign NOW -- in mid-season & go ahead and and just let clauson & chavis take over, but i'm sure he'll wait for hamilton to fire him & bascally BAIL him out-- buying up his contract. if resigns, we wouldn't have to BUY his contract right? yea, we need some new ORANGE-BLOOD & maybe, we can even pull off a upset of BAMA-- YEA!! to help with the pain GO VOLS!!

On Higgins: Fulmer needs a fresh start, and so does UT

i agree with alot of the comments already made -- I.E.- j crompton, at least take some responsibility for u'r own play. in a post game interveiw concerning the fumble on the 2 yl. he said "i just turned to make the handoff & if felt like i was being stripped, i'll just have to look @ the film" what a s*it as* answer!!he talked with a "air" of confidence like we hadn't even lost!!like it the dumb A he is. yes, it was a team loss. iwas just so ?? about his lack of humility.as always, i am hopeing for the best next week & so forth, but let's shake some things up -- as in giving other players a chance to MAKE SOME PLAYS!!

On Turnovers, missed chances hurt offense

i agree bluetick basically,as in looking at the positive and wanting to improve on the rest. i have to mention -- it's ruff to get "fired up" on UAB after lossing a heartbreak to UCLA -- who got blasted by BYU 59-0!!today -- NOW get busy, get ready for fla.we do have a solid running game work on the pass --if crompton can't-- work with stevens nothing is set in stone! no,we don't have peyton, so work with what you have.the defence is improving ALL IS TO BE GAINED we have the players and can BEAT THE GATORS!!! just come together, work hard AND our offensive line needs to come off the ball like their lives depended on it!! ORANGE2-U!!GO VOLS!

On Offense zeroes in on running game

last week i heard a commentater say "the swamp" was the loudest stadium in the south! i have been to both -- neyland and the swamp -- neyland was most definatily LOUDEST & "ROCKING" especialy in the upper decks!! UAB will have problems unless they go with the silent count -- which at times WILL make em FEEL the noise!knock em out VOLS!

On UAB silent about signals for noisy Neyland

tyler smith is a very, very important ingredient in the WHOLE mix this season!so glad he is on board.this mixture of talent makes for a championship team.GO BIG ORANGE!!

On Strange: Bradshaw's successor, Smith, makes huge impact

it doesn't matter about the gator facilities, they have to play there also.we have done very well on the road.i just hope more than 1-2 players have monster games (if that). lately it seems the vols have been wiating for loften to step up. we need EVERYBODY to put forth extra effort---especially on defence and hitting the boards better than the last few "narrow" wins.go down to fla. and have a big game, hit free-throws when nessasary and come home with a solid/big time win!NOT just get a nail-bitter!!anyone know what i'm saying vol fans!?! GO VOLS!!- and bring home a big one!!

On Vols ready to sweat out outright title

PUT IT THIS WAY--ASKING WHO IS THE BEST PLAYER IN UT'S HISTORY IS LIKE ASKING WHAT'S THE BEST ROCK & ROLL SONG EVER,OR WHO'S THE BEST ACTOR EVER,TYPE QUESTION-- YOU (I) COULD NEVER ANSWER THAT-- THE BEST ANSWER WOULD BE DIFFERENT PLAYERS AT DIFFERENT POSITIONS AT DIFFERENT TIMES!! OR MAYBE YOU COULD ASK WHO'S THE TOP 50 PLAYERS OF ALL TIME:)

On Poll: Who is the greatest UT men’s basketball player of all time?
