Thanks for pointing out the Wheat Shockers for me FWBvol. One should think I would know the third biggest college in Kansas. I will send you a little thank you card for keeping me straight. Seriously do you think coach Phil would have won a COY at Wichita State (home of the original pizza hut) or Appy State, even if he were the headman?
P.S. My point still stands that he did not get a COY at the sub-division, regardless he was never the head coach.

This man will seem like a BIG fish in a SMALL pond when all said and done. Lets help him transfer from being Spider Man to a savage, ravaging, orange blood dripping, Canine Smokey...(lets feed him the naysayers on these walls first. Whom should we start with?)

He has TWO national coach of the year awards. Yeah it is at a lower level, which only tells me the talent is thinner. He has the talent and can use what he already has. This guy has more options than your local gas station, how can he not win? Hell our own coach Phil Fulmer coached at the sub-division; did he win a national coach of the year award at Appy State? I don't think he did! Yeah he won a national coach of the year award in 98' but look at the talent and the RUNNING QB he had then. Don't ya'll think (I am country) the talent level is just a tad better? I do. I'm sure CLAWson has a mean claw with his witty grin.
I really dig this guy for what it is worth! He and the new coaching staff will bring down the deathly smoke from the smokies and use it to suffocate our opponents in the upcoming season.

Why do people care how other people post on here? Who cares if someone didn't finish well in the spelling bee, or had bad grades in grammar? I guess everyone needs to go back to when their parents told them "if you can't say anything nice, then don't say it at all". On that note, I am stoked that Clawson is coming to k-town. I know that he will have an instant impact when he steps onto campus as our official OC. As for the recruiting, everyone knows by now how horrible it looks, but look at everybody's recruiting class, they are all full. Who really cares if we don't get the five and four star recruits like we did last year. Am I the only one who realized what this guy did with Brian Westbrook? He also has TWO national coach of the year awards...HELLO, these things alone should tell you he can coach! Drayton is the next best thing to Troop (Troop was great at UT) and he can ignite that burning desire in a young man that just makes him perform above what some recruiting site says about him. Finally, if we don't get one of the Michigan guys, I hope we can score Quarles. I have played against Quarles Rebels and watched how he interacted with his young students. He knows how to lead and build the intangibles that is necessary to take a boy and turn him into a man (Just ask Aaron Douglas)...Oh yeah, and he has won a few state titles, sixty games in a row, his team is ranked nationally among high schools, and sent numerous kids to Division I schools (ask me to name them and I will post a new comment). I am just one excited VOL FAN!!!
P.S. For those who must feel like they must build their egos, feel free to bash my comment or my grammatical errors. (I really do not care)

The only reason I do not get on here more often is because most of these articles are horrible. I read better articles in my local paper by pimply faced high school students. The only real Mikes are on ESPN with Mike and Mike in the morning. These mikes could not even wash their jockstraps.
