You can't spell "team" with I in it. I wonder if this kid has too much I in him to be a really good addition to the Tennessee Team.

I guess I'm biased a little, but the 31 points against Kentucky was very sweet for those of us living in Kentucky. I knew that both Louisville and Kentucky was making a huge mistake in not recruiting Chris. I'm so happy that he chose to go to UT. I think he will long be remembered as one of the very best to ever wear orange, and not let us forget what an honor it is to wear that orange. Thousands of kids dream of being able to wear that orange jersey and only a very few fulfill that dream. Chris will always be part of the UT family and I think we can all be proud of that.

Charging the Students is the most pitiful act I've ever seen. You could have raised the money just by asking the fat cats for another donation, but you would rather saddle the Students with another fee so they can be part of the University. You should be ashamed and this is not coming from a Student but a 60+ alumni.

This is why we can forget about another national championship anytime soon. You must be able to keep the best in state talent and we cannot. I don't know who's the blame, but with a school like UT it must be personal. I've been to Georgia and picking it over UT is like picking the projects over a Mansion.

I would urge Chris to take this opportunity to help the many men, particularly young men, who will develop this cancer and not know until its too late. This is the cancer that almost killed Lance Armstrong. It is a very simple thing to check yourself as you are showering. I urge all men to check themselves (if necessary learn how from your Doctor) regularly. This is a Cancer which kills if not found early enough. God Bless you Chris for sharing this with the public. You have probably saved many lives.

Regardless of the reason, a breakup of a 25 year marriage, with 4 children, is very sad and not something anyone should make a joke of. I have never been involved in a Divorce, but I know people who have and it is always a depressing situation for those involved. Good luck to both Bruce and Pat and their spouses. I hope you all can be friends and respect each other.

Its always sad to hear of a Kid who seems to have no luck when it comes to injuries. Whether they are Vols or our opponents we often forget that they are just kids trying to play against stiff competition. The NCAA's rules don't help any either. I would like to see the rules changed so that any verified injury which causes a Kid to miss the season would result in a year being added back to their eligibility.

A good kid making a very mature decision. He will look back 10 years from now and know what a great decision it was.

I know I am biased in that I consider the University of Tennessee to be the very best public school available at any cost. I consider it a terrible mistake for any kid who has been offered to turn down a scholarship from UT. But my experience tells me that I paid my way through UT and for that cost I was educated to be successful through over 30 years of employment with a national firm and I have secured a very confortable retirement. All of this I give UT credit for. I just don't understand how anyone could turn UT down!!

I have not been a student there since the early 60's, but I have to say that this is disgraceful. I think the Athletic Director and Coaches have been making big money so long they have forgotten what it is like to be a poor student. These kids are already paying an arm and a leg in fees and most don't have this kind of money to pay for football tickets. I think 3-5 dollars a game would be much more reasonable. I alswo believe that, if they ask, some of the wealthy supporters would have made up the budget shortfall. I would say that Fulmer is already making too much. His wages should be based on supply and demand. How many other Universities are waiting to hire him at his current salary?
