I was checking out some Auburn blogs to see what they were saying about the game coming up, and I saw this picture that is quite funny. "Vols get sneaky".

I heard a rumor today from someone that claims to have inside information about the program, but I don't know where he got his information or if he is a reliable source of information. He says that Skip Holtz will be the next coach at UT, and that it will happen "soon". Anyone know anything about this?

Moving the pocket and letting Crompton throw on the run is a great idea. Unfortunately, it should have been a half-time adjustment in the UCLA game rather than a bye week implementation. I don't claim to be a an offensive genius, but even I know from playing NCAA football on the PS3, if you are getting pressure from the defensive line, you move the pocket.. Good to know that Foolmer is workin' like heck to "right the ship".

My goodness people, calm down. We lost a basketball game to a great team. When this tournmanent is over, only one team out of 65 will be happy with the end result We had the best year Tennessee basketball has ever had, and we can expect to be a good program year in and year out. Do we really need to gripe and complain about every detail of the game and ridicule every mistake a player or coach may make. I love how so many of us "fans" act as if we know more about the game than the people who make a living coaching it and playing it. Grow up Vols fans. Let's show some class, be proud of our team's accomplishments this year, and look forward to next year. We should be happy that losing to a Rick Pitino coached Louisville team is so hard to swallow, 5 years ago we would have stormed the court had we even been in the game at the end. As for the complainers, as Barney Fife would say, "Nip it in the bud!"

I hate that we lost tonight, but not so much that we lost the game, but the way in which we lost it. IMO, it was the worst game we've played all season, and it couldn't have come at a worse time. I just want to give a shout out for Jajuan, a walk-on that turned out to be a star for Tennessee. I'll miss seeing him out on the court. As for Lofton, I hate it ended the way it did for him. For so long, he was "the man", and tonight he helped shoot our way out of the tourney with his off-balance circus shots. Still, we wouldn't be where we were without him and I appreciate all he has done. I thought it was odd that Stephen Pearl was in the game tonight. I hope that Pearl wasn't playing his son in the game because he has thoughts of leaving for Indiana and wanted Stephen to get some playing time before he left. Anyways, it's been a "heck" of a run. Hopefully our Lady Vols will repeat and then we can count down the days until UAB. Go Vols!

I did my undergraduate studies at ETSU and am pretty confident that the administration at ETSU was willing to start the program back up. As a matter of fact, they had plans in place to develop a new stadium for the team to play in, rather than the mini-dome. However, a vote came before the students that would require an increase in the student activity fee in order to bring the program back. The students voted against the increased fee and the issue was closed. Please reveal a legitimate source that says that the program is coming back.

First off, congrats to the vols for surviving against Wisconsin despite the prevent defense and prevent offense that nearly cost us the game. I have long been a Tennesee fan and have supported Coach Fulmer despite questioning some game decisions that he has made. There are too many fair-weather wans that jump on the band-wagon of firing "fat Phil". However, I, as many other Vols fans were glad to see Randy Sanders pack his bags for KY. I also was happy to get Cutcliife back, as I anticipated returning to the Tennessee team that dominated our opponents. While I have appreciated coach Cut's undoubtable gift for developing QB's, I must question his play-calling. I wish him the best at Duke and appreciate all he has done for TN. All said, I think Kirk Herbstreet put it best when he stated on College Gameday that the Vols play the best when no one thinks they can win and struggle when they are favored. This shows me that the problem with the team lies with motivation and discipline. A Head Coach in a program like Tennesee needs to possess the firepower and personality to "stir the pot". However, Fulmer seems more interested in licking the spoon. I say a new OC needs to be able to fire the players up. We need someone who will get in player's faces and make them give it their all for Tennesee. Fulmer is too busy clapping his hands and fetching tacos for Chavis to do any motivating. Anyways, enough said. Fulmer isn't going anywhere anytime soon, but just maybe he will hire someone that can compensate for his insufficiencies and return the Vols to powerhouse status. That's the hope that I have! Go Vols!

I had an idea last night that I thought might be a genius idea if we could execute it properly, as it would completely catch Georgia by surprise. Let's put Gerald Jones in at QB, but not in the G-gun, under center. Then put Foster/Hardesty at FB and Creer/Hardesty at HB and run the triple option. What do we have to lose?
On Stephens is not getting ahead of himself
