I live in Atlanta and I watch highlights on him nearly every Fri. He makes A. Foster a forgotten name for backs with his size. And please believe in a dimension called "football speed". This kid is big, strong and fast. He'll be a great option for the offense. I know the college game is faster, but his gears change 5 time faster than Foster's.

On Boyd pulls commitment to UT

Hate to see the team not perform well consistent for Fulmer and his staff. Wish they could have played as well all season.
Going forward,I support the new regime. Let's stay positive.

On Kiffin gives recruit early wake-up call

SURVEY:
If Kiffin retores winning at UT, how long before he takes the first offer to coach again in the NFL?

ANSWER: 100% "Bye Bye"

SURVEY:

If Kiffin DOESN'T restore winning, how long before Hamilton fires him so he can save himself?

Then What Hamilton?

Everyone sing-a-long.........
I SMELL A COACHING CAROUSEL...Wow, that doesn't seem to match the same melody to ROCKY TOP and I bet you won't see Kiffin singin' ROCKY TOP at the press conference like Petrino did at Arkansas last year....

It would be easier to stomach if I knew he was a UT man.
I'm supporting Kiffin because I support UT, but I don't have a good feeling on the longevity of his committment to UT.

On Kiffin to be introduced as UT's coach 2 p.m. Monday

That's what I'm talkin' about. We need someone to coach up our #1, 2 or whatever recruiting classes.
Especially the big games and bowl games.

On Hamilton seeking integrity, salesmanship in coach

Lane Kiffin convinced Pete Carroll to start recruiting nationally. Look at TENN and the surrounding states. (Don't forget VANDY in state) It's much tougher than the FULMER/SPURRIER dominate the SEC era. There's a very good coach in every state now. I know we've recruited nationally in the past, but it will be more of a factor. Kiffin can get it done in that respect.
While losing recruits bothers me, the ones coming in may be geared towards Clawson's offense which may not be around. The ones that drop could open the door early for others that may fit the new coach's scheme. Fulmer also could have fired Clawson and brought Kiffin in immediately and it may have saved his job.
Oh Well! Who knows? Hamilton I hope you hire the right one cause you could be next.

Now here we go with the "RACE CARD". Give me a break guys. I'm African-American and proud of THE VOLS as I deal with The Dawgs here in Atlanta. The mention of Tyrone Willingham is a joke in itself because as it seems he's a bust and it doesn't have anything to do with color. He's more of a motivator than a coach. NEXT. Can't we leave the politics out of our situation because it clearly wouldn't have even been part of your comments if McCain had won.
What we're talking about here is UT Football and the proper process it will take to get our program back into a significant winning trend. The Racist crap is why I left the state in the first place. Race aside... I want UT to win at everything and I wear UT Orange proudly in Georgia.
Let's move on and find the right coach for the job so we can all celebrate UT football victories we've been spoiled with in our recent past.
Let us not forget we are starting to loose recruits and some of those just happen to be men of color whom also may log on to this blog. The racist stuff will not help our team if this continues. Please.... wouldn't hate if a great young man like Eric Berry saw some of this and transferred.? Whatever.. let's do the right thing. Our fan reactions have cost us enough in recruiting.

Sad day if you really bleed orange. Although Fulmer is a class act and a good man, it's time for a change. I'm concerned that a Tennessee man won't be his successor.(Are we the next Michigan?) Regardless, we need the passion of winning back on ROCKY TOP. Family is important, but parents these days tend to be more of a friend than a parent. Case in point..... WE NEED A FOOTBALL COACH... Not a Daddy.

On Fulmer doesn't want UT family to 'stay divided'

Dave Clawson - OC, & QB's coach Grade F
Stan Drayton - RB coach Grade F
Latrell Scott- WR coach Grade F

THIS POT OF BEANS SHOULD HAVE BEEN THROWN OUT A LONG TIME AGO.

We don't need a gator fan to tell us Joe Pa has the team on cruise control? WhoopDeeDoo....we all know that. Once a coach forgets how to teach "heart", it's time to go. Some way, Joe Pa found some coaches with heart who were able to transfer the attitude to the players. Cutcliffe left and so did the heart(and discipline). Cutcliffe comes back, then leaves again and you know the rest. So instead of Hamilton seeing the obvious when Cut came back, he blinked and now Cut is gone and making a sad sack Duke program somewhat successful.
Yes all teams go through it, but year after year is old. I noticed as far back as 2002. You could just see the body language of the players on the sidelines. It was like "We're TENN... we're supposed to win". There was laughing and bull.... then.
The playbooks are only part of it....players make plays and we're not making any. Way back when, if you didn't make plays you were scared to come to the sideline. Our coaching sucks. Forget Joe Pa... All I care about is UT...
Phil is a UT man...and I respect what he's done, but there comes a time when you have to push or get pushed right out the door.
