Hard to root against this guy off the field, obviously doing the "good" work and living an admirable life. Like our Chris Lofton, he is a role model for our youth. I'll be fired up though when the Gators roll into Knoxville this fall. Go Vols!!!

Big Orange fan here, but have to admit, haven't followed baseball as closely as football or basketball. So help me out, is Raleigh the Kevin O'Neil of baseball? I did see my alma mater ETSU kick UT's tail in Johnson City & then again in Knoxville. With everything else on the way up at UT, baseball needs to get its act together!! Go Vols!!

Chris,
You'll always be remembered as a great Vol basketball player, but even a better man. Your story is truly inspiring and you are a role model for our youth. My son wear's your #5 jersey all the time. Bout time for a new one!! He's only 7 years old, but I'll tell him your story this evening. Good luck in your future & may God bless.

Totally of topic: I was saddened to learn today that my dreamgirl, Sara Evans is engaged to former Alabama QB, Jay Barker. I will now end my fascination & infatuation with the beautiful Ms. Evans. And now, back to the game!!

No question about it, Bruce is not well liked by his peers in the SEC or nationally. Does anyone remeber at one point last season, Vols were ranked in the AP Top 25, but didn't even receive a single vote in the "ESPN USA Today Coaches Poll." For the most part, awards are popularity contest and even then, sometimes, jealousy gets in the way of popularity. Not the first time and won't be the last, Majors, Manning, Pearl, etc., all deserving. Forget about it, don't worry about this garbage. GO VOLS!!!! Kick some A$$!!!!

Jordan Howell, in the month of Feb., was 4-29 or 14% from the field. He hasn't scored since the Georgia game and has failed to score in 4 of the last 6. Averaging 16 min. per game in Feb., he's avg. only 1.5 assists pg. I love Ramar Smith, but not a true point guard either. This has become a glaring weakness on this team. Jordan should've tried out for American Idol, as his halftime performance at the Auburn game was more impressive than anything he's done on the court of late. I'm reminded of a Simon Cowell quote when I see Jordan play, "What the bloody hell was that?"

Sad story for UT fans and society in general. In this political season, regardless of who your gonna vote for, it's very disheartening that you never hear about drugs as a campaign issue. I personally think it's the single most devastating issue affecting the lives of all Americans. Murder, theft, prostitution, prescription drug fraud, overdose deaths, suicide, moral decline, etc., all by products of the culture of drug use in America.
