I will say this; Dooley will be a good coach. He is not a bad coach now; he is just a little green behind the ears. He has a great staff around him. I am not a huge Chaney fan and I have felt that way before Dooley got there. Wilcox is not a bad coach. Everyone got worried when he was mentioned for the Texas job. We either need an meaner or tougher o line, or we need a better o line coach. This is where Dooley needs to step in and take that responsibility. We have a great QB coach, WR coach, and LB coach.

Our kicker and punter needs to be told this is probably their last year here. Darr may get better, but Palardy is another Lincoln. Brey is still young but is very talented!! He can and probably will be a first round pick one day. Our wide outs are really good. I agree with a post earlier that we need a running backs coach that can teach them how to hit holes. We have plenty of Vols For Life RB, that should be able to coach them up. We are going to be just fine!!

How many of our starters could or would start for any of the teams that beat us this year, or will beat us this year? On both sides of the ball, maybe 9. They are still young (I know, don’t say it because so are the others teams), but seriously? 10 pts by Florida and 8 points from Georgia is not that bad. This is Dooley's second year, basically one recruiting class of his on the field, and in four years time, with four recruiting classes under his belt, he will have a great competitive team. We are in the SEC you know, the toughest conference in all of college football!!!

I am still saying this, and I will stick by my word!! If Hunter is healthy, the VOLS beat Florida, and Georgia!! Without him I would not expect them to win. “But he’s just one player!!” Yeah and look what Bama would have done if Julio Jones would have went down, or Georgia if AJ Green went down last year. I know, what if’s don’t win games, but are you guys that stupid, or just that bad of fans. (To those who are whining like babies)

hello mr. naval, still think tennessee is rising and the gators are falling? tennessee offensive line is pathetic. somebody needs to tell dooley to call all local krispy creme donut shops and put a picture of every one of tennessee's offensive lineman on the wall so when they come in for their daily 12 dozen of hot glazed donuts the waitress needs to hand them a dvd of the florida game to remind them of how soft they were as the florida d line "man handled" them.

The difference in the game was the speed of Rainey and Demps, especially on the edges, and the loss of Hunter. The Florida defense was not particularly outstanding and their secondary had to grab every jersey in sight to keep coverage on the receivers.

so true we traded de's duke lemmens, justin trattou, for a faster & stronger ro powell, lerentee mccray, kedric johnson, william green. have strong dt's in jaye howard, omar hunter, floyd, easly, hope leon orr come along stronger. earl okine looks like the next best thing but yet to show it, lb's are fast with bostic, jelani jenkins, only thing concerns me is the cb's hope cody riggs have gained strenght, and if moses jenkins can hold his own. safety is pretty solid in josh evans and matt elam
