Sorry, but I had to correct a couple of misconceptions here.
<<Ever heard of coke being prescribed to anyone?>>
Actually, yes. In solution form, it's used as a local anesthetic. Not often, mind you, but occasionally. The pharmacy at the military hospital where I worked had some cocaine topical solution in the narcotics safe.
<<case and point, marijuana's effects are infinitely less harmful than coke...which is why it is a much less serious offense to carry weed(schedule I, as opposed to cocaine which is a schedule II)>>
Using drug schedules does not prove your point. If a drug is in Schedule I, that means that it is not approved for any medicinal use according to the U.S. DEA. It has nothing to do with how dangerous it is. Every illegal drug that you can buy on the streets (meth, ecstasy, etc.) is Schedule I. Schedule II drugs have the highest potential for physical and psychological dependence out of all the LEGAL drugs. Cocaine is Schedule II because the DEA (and the FDA) recognizes it as having a medicinal use (as I described).
The higher the Schedule number, the lower the risk of addiction (i.e. III's have less risk than II's etc.) Shedule VI drugs are considered to have virtually no risk of addiction.
Lesson over. You may now resume whatever you were discussing.

Lofton has played against Louisville before, Mike. In his freshman year the Vols played at Freedom Hall and actually led about midway through the second half. However, down the stretch they completely collapsed against Pitino's full court press and lost by 23. Of course, Buzz Peterson was still the coach then, so it would be a totally different animal now.

Actually, bluetick, I'm a pharmacist and a huge Vol fan. I was simply saying that VOLS85 shouldn't use Drug Schedules to help his argument 'cause it didn't make sense.
I am in no way defending what Jimmy Johns supposedly did. He should absolutely go to jail fo selling cocaine. Illegal drug distribution is serious stuff.
Try googling "prescriptions for cocaine" and see what you get.
