Woof Woof

Haven't heard from you since the UF/UT GAME. Hmmmmm.... :)

Written on Poll: Which team will win the SEC East this season?:

Winner of the UGA/UF will win the East. I think USC is slightly overrated. Games against UF, At UGA, even at UT are all challenges for USC. Tennessee isn't there yet, so I won't put them in there this year. Can't see Vandy beating out USC, UGA, AND UF. UK and Mizzou will finish at the bottom if the East. Just like last year, winner of the UGA/UF game will be playing in Atlanta.

Hey 88, how's things at the factory? Nothing wrong with factory work, at least you aren't mooching off the taxpayers, yet. I get a good chuckle out the fact that you have to live and work right smack dab in Big Orange Country. This the funniest part of it all is you probably can't afford to go to the games at gaysnville so I suggest you watch the Vol/gator game at Calhouns in Knoxville and wear your gator gear and cuss the Vols and spit on em just like you would in gaysnville. Life in Knoxville! You have to feel like you're in prison, and, you are. He

I'm not going to lie, it gets rough out here. Everyday I have to put up with the fans of Big Orange Country. I got to hand it to you folks, y'all are very passionate (and delusional) about your Vols. I'll agree with 9willbesofine, however, I think UT could beat USC and MAYBE UGA (depending how bad they are defensively). You can go ahead and chalk the UF, Bama and Oregon games down as losses lol.

I'm going against my usual hatred for preseason fb to watch this game tonight. I think it's interesting to see some of the rookies play, but after they pull the starters its pretty lame. I think Jason Garrett will be fired if Dallas doesn't make the playoffs, and if they don't he needs to be fired..Go Pokes!!

You got a point, preseason can be pretty lame. I just want to see Escobar, Randle, Dunbar and our receivers in action. I also want to get a good look at the new defense under Kiffin. And Garrett, wouldn't bother me a bit if he was fired! COWBOYS!!

Not true... some things do change. See, we are currently still holding a top 5 class, which is not the norm for us at this stage. On the flip side of that coin, your precious gators are typically in the top 5 around this time but instead (depending on which poll you're looking at) are barely in the top 25, barely in the top 10 in the SEC, and currently trail Vandy. Not to mention, you're dead last in the state of Florida, while your 2 biggest in-state rivals are also sitting comfortably in the top 5.

Indeed things do change. As far behind as you currently sit, I guess you should continue clinging your hopes to signing day being a ways off.

Woof, woof.

Not to worry!!! That'll all change when UF is playing for the SEC Chanpionship this year AND bringing in a top ten class.

Central,

You're correct.

Actually, the lizards very well may be looking at a 5 loss season. ( Miami, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, and FSU.

Alabama? Probably home free after Va Tech and then at A & M. More than likely, the Texas A & M game is a sure loss. After those 2, the LSU game is probably the last chance at losing a game.

But you're right about the troll laden Lizards.
They definitely have the most arrogant ( deservedly so ) fans..........as evidenced by the idiots who live on this site instead of their own.

Thug U (Miami) is NOWHERE even close to being the powerhouse they were back in the old days. So, UF won't lose any sleep over playing Miami.

LSWHO scored an awful 6 points in the Swamp last year, and I'm willing to bet, their offense won't be much better against UF this year.

It took 6, SIX turnovers before UGA defeated UF, and they still barely won that game. Plus, UGA lost a lot (defensively) to the NFL Draft. Very winnable game for UF (recent history proves that).

UF defeated USC by 30 last year. Nuff said

UF defeated FSWHO at Doak Campbell Stadium 37-26. This year they're making a trip to the Swamp. I'm willing to bet UF wins that with what FSU lost to the draft.

Dallas missed on Lacy, but OSU has produced some great backs over the years. I love the safety from GSU and the TE from SDSU..The jury is out on the rest of these picks (especially with Jones taking a center in the 1st round).

I don't understand why it took JJ so long to draft a safety. I was really hoping he'd draft a DT. I like the GSU we got, you ever see Terrance Williams play? I watched him against WVU, this dude could be a force especially with what we already have!! Take care

What about the Dallas Baker slap in 2004? The block in the back call off a Brandon James punt return in Neyland in 2006? Same game, Brandon James was heading to the end zone for a TD when a UT kicker tripped him and NO flag was called. Luckily we've blown UT out the last couple of times in Neyland. Otherwise, the streak might not be at 8 right now thanks to SEC officiating at Neyland.

Didn't say that the Gators weren't a very good team. They are. I'll cut you some slack, though, because you lost a good player for the season. I hate that for any player, regardless where he plays. But I'm just saying that playing in this league will probably hurt you in the tourney. We're weak across the board. Both the Big East and Big 10 are loaded. The Gators would not dominate either league. You'd be hard-pressed to get many road wins in either conference. I say that because they are currently beating up on each other. You'd share the same fate. One more thing, you might not have the best team in your own state right now. Again, don't get me wrong. You've got a good team. But just one good team among quite a few others out there.

Will Yuguete will only (hopefully) miss the rest of the regular season. You have one thing right, The SEC is horrible this year. The Big East has several teams that are Elite 8 or Final Four bound. Do I think Florida can handle any of them teams? Yes, but it's College Basketball, upsets can, and will happen anyday of the week. So of course I don't get my hopes up through the roof with my Gators.

One other thing, you might be right about Florida not being the best team in Florida. As much as I hate Miami football, I enjoy seeing them dismantle Duke and NC!!!

Written on First road win of season a giant learning experience for Jarnell Stokes, rest of Vols at South Carolina :

in response to decades_vol:

I'd be more concerned about your kitties going to Gainesville Tuesday than a game between UT and South Carolina. It's really sad that you and the Gators are the best this league has to offer right now. Neither one of you would finish in the top 5-6 in the Big East or Big 10. Worst league overall since the three-team SEC in the NCAA back in 2009. We're not very strong right now, that's obvious. But you're not that much better in this weak-sister league. Bottom line, pack lightly for the Dance, if you go at all.

Gators destroyed Wisconsin and Marquette. That same Wisconsin team defeated #3 Michigan. Kansas is on a losing skid, Louisville hasnt looked impressive at all lately. Florida could easily finish 1st or 2nd in the Big East and Big 10.
