Written on Just McRae can't save the day for UT against Georgia, 78-68:

in response to ULTIMATEVOLUNTEER:

Why do you and others always put the announcers of a game in a position of authority or knowledge? As if they are the standard for knowing whats going on. Who cares what they think? Those guys were clueless today. They missed calls that were made, made incorrect statistical statements, and don't seem to know the rules.

I didn't put 'em in a position of authority or knowledge. I was juss repeatin on here what that bunch said...lol!!

Written on Just McRae can't save the day for UT against Georgia, 78-68:

Watched your game. Jordon McRae fouled out with total of 35 points and three assists. He's done excellent even with the fouls..wish we had a shooter to catch fire like that. Announcers said UT would almost surely have to win the SEC to get in. It's been a wild season this year, that's for sure.

'Tis why it is presented to those from the land of Grass that is Blue. Those from the Tops that are Rocky aren't confronted with the conundrum.

You best hope it doesn't take as long or as many quandaries as it did to find Penelope. Remember, just as you lost your screen name, this abyss might be the start of something more epic.

Really, what is his plan do deal with the "uncoachable" ones while promising everything to the ones following?

Just as the ancient epic poet parlayed the irresistible allures of women to whom lead many men astray, so does the seduction and allure to the name of Kentucky, for those of even whom are not able to cut the mustard.

Simple, 4Ever. If they are not able to play and play well at Kentucky, then they sit or they find somewhere else to go. Most this year have had their 'big' chance and they blew it. And, unless that 'most' ever decide to grow up and make a really, really big turn around and fast, just the way the Cauley-Stein appeared to be doing the other night, they may not be back.

Written on 21 new Vols in Tennessee's 2013 signing classs:

in response to sameolvolalum:

Amen olddog! A super solid O-line with excellent talent at QB (smart guys who can actually read defenses) will make for an easier time for RB's and receivers. DL depth with experience trumps glam newbies any day and, what I think is a little mentioned positive regarding the coaching staff is they're on the same page from the get-go, which will show itself by O&W game time. You'll see. Coach Jones was smart enough to choose his staff the way he did, particularly considering the haze of doubt hovering over UT's athletic situation. I'm just 62, but I expect to be cheering for that great big orange "T" at the Georgia Dome before my Social Security kicks in.

Your questioning of my comma usage has forced me to refocus on the proper English language comma rules.

Rule 1: The comma is placed before the coordinating conjunction, not after.

Your sentence: DL depth with experience trumps glam newbies any day and, what I think is a little mentioned positive regarding the coaching staff is they're on the same page from the get-go, which will show itself by O&W game time.

Correction: ... newbies any day, and what I think ...

Rule 2: A comma is used to set off a word of direct address:

Your sentence: Amen oldog!
Correction: Amen, olddog!

'Juss' trying to help, sameol. Btw, that is one long-butt sentence up there you posted, ya har??? hehehee!!

Written on Kenny Hall won't be suspended following arrest:

E-gads. Another offense by the vols out on Alcoa, huh? Driving under a suspended license? Bad decision, wish the kid had used some better judgement there, that's for sure. Well, I guess all I can really say is that this is just one more nugget of poop that's been added to the long laundry list of prior offenses committed by young college students out on Alcoa, thanks to your vols. I think that maybe you all should offer some Post-Alcoa counseling, or something, as it as it seems as though it is needed. Bad!

Having faith in one's football team is respectable. Having hope for better times is admirable. Being delusional derives pity.

No win is SEC conference play is automatic. In any sport. But why, other than being endowed with one (or maybe all) of the emotional attributes above, do you think your 'Cheating Cats can win in SEC football?

I mean, really, really, do you have any conviction ......

That's right about the 'no win' is automatic, but I think a few of you fellow vols in arms on here have passionately disagreed about that within the recent past, so go sing to them 'bout it, not me. Now, as far as the what makes me think?...I don't think Homer, I know! We've got new beginnings and an embarrassed AD who has put our $$ where his mouth is. Along side a coach who can recruit and I mean really recruit, we got so far....five incoming 4* players, and maybe an additional one tomorrow. Times are changing in WildCat country and this is something that you shall soon learn. Now, I'm not saying we're going to be a BCSer, but it does host the possibility and it can't get any worse or stay just as bad as what it was. This is just a partial list here, but I'm sleepy so I'm going to 'attempt' to get some shuteye as long as my nightly caller doesn't come a rappin'.

And what's with all those commas? I don't think UK would appreciate an illiterate miscreant such as you touting an education from there. Bless your heart. You and your jarhead butt-buddy need to get a room...and lay off the bong.

Now is unprecedented times within WildCat Country as AD Mitch Barnhart has vowed put our $$ where his big mouth is, assuring all of BBN that Kentucky IS going to be competitive, and right up there with ALL the rest of the SEC teams in ft. Ya know, UK has typically never really been that far off, consecutively, within point spreads when it's came to 'W's or 'L's with other SEC teams, when looking at our past conference records. We've, for the most part, been able to pretty closely hold our own, and have caused most teams to nearly always have to play us closely, right down to the wire, more times than not, in recent years. So, with our $$ backing this fb program, our new coach, and an AD who has vowed to bring his own name back up out of the lowly muck (among other things) here in KY....I think that the Cats have really gotten onto something and it is going to be big. And, UT, along with everyone else within the SEC, is going to really have to guard their own loins, as you will surely have your own jerseys full now, when trying to hang that what was once considered by many, the expected automatic 'L' upon the Cats

Bunch of ESPN dimwits don't know their heads from a poopin hole in the ground! Before the KY game, this is what they said....

"Unfortunately for coach John Calipari, UK, which faces a critical nonconference matchup Tuesday night against the Ole Miss Rebels (9 p.m., ESPN), does not have a group of experienced upperclassmen this season."

They don't even know conference season has already started and were both in SEC.

After the KY game, those bunch of numbskulls got on national t.v. atalking about somebody letting out gas inside a locker room somewhere. I mean really. That was real news worthy information there that needed to be spread around. They need to go buy lengthy columns on the front pages of some of the more prominent, big name newspapers, and in widely circulated magazines to further spread the word. They need to also hang this information out in flyers on telephone polls in all the major cities, too....bunch of numbskulls.

So you think cheatin's ok? I'm not sayin' Kentucky cheated...or the refs., but I think the guy you responded to thought so. Winning by cheating is not really winning. Of course you know that right?

Cats didn't cheat, but you can't reason with an idiot. Any time/every time Cats win, someone on here up and hollers we cheated. If this were true, then by this time we should be infinitely beyond 'Masters of the Black Belt' in slicksterness and charlatanism. I mean that should have a title totally of it's own, there. But, anyhow...we're slick all right, but not in the ways of cheatin. We're slick in knowledge and ability to handle the ball and to handle the ball WELL! Simply put... we're just typically and normally good, and far beyond any vol in bb, although this year has proven to be the exception. He said "I'd rather be competitive (which we were) and lose than to win like that.", so I just basically replied, "sure" as in "sure you would" as in sarcasm towards him....duh... My reply has nothing to do with confirming his stupid accusations/innuendoes of KY's misdeeds or non-misdeeds. It was called sarcasm, smart alecness. Get it?
