"I guess with 1,248 Associate ADs (well, you'll have to double that when you count the Women's Athletic Dept.) they've got nothing better to do than hook up people for a line of "upscale collegiate apparel".
Very well said.

After reading more of the article it seems like there was more to it than just ill-thought ideas about orange blazers. Apart from flooding the market with them what would ultimately be self-defeating, this lady and Joan Cronan thought that capri pants and 'mature female vol fan' attire would be enough to float this enterprise?

Slow news day in Vol land.

Hmmm. Nothing new here actually guys...we've been asking this question as a fan base since Casey Clausen graduated. Ainge or Shaeffer, Ainge or R. Clausen...last couple of years its been very vocal Ainge supporters vs equally rabid Crompton fans.
I pull for whoever is in there.

I don't care too much about their rotation so long as we don't make one of them look like an all-pro ala Hall last year.

I swear Barker played for the Cheating Crimson for nigh on eight years. I never thought we'd be rid of him.

Mother of God, now I am worried about our punting and its only March.

One other concern we should all have when making our predictions is we don't know what our injury situation will be after practices and workouts.
Plus, I hate to say it...but we all need to face the possibility there will be other disciplinary issues.
We've punted well the last few years, but with Colquitt out for several games, let's not underestimate how much harder the defense's job will be if we don't flip the field.

9-3 was the record in the regular season this past year...and let's not forget it took overtime vs KY, a failed field goal against Vandy, and a fortuitous fumble recovery against USC to get there. I don't know if we can count on those things to happen again, so 7-5 is a possibility.
I realize luck is just as much a part of football as anything else...and sometimes you get luck that gives you 13-0 as in 1998. When you need it to scrape by with 9 wins in a 12 game season, it's animal of a different stripe.

The article mentions Joan Cronan by name...so it does have to do with the athletic department.
