...EVER, about Dooley. Manning was noticably more guarded in his choice of word when it came to Dooley, and NOW we know why. That's something only a UT football fan would notice, not POSERS like you, who only have an interest in DEGRADING and DEFAMING Tennessee Football. Manning has too much class to have said he was unsure about Dooley, but he obviously was, because he NEVER came out in early full support like he's doing now. The Posers/Frauds on this site, such as yourself, knew NOTHING of Dooley's fate, just like Manning didn't, but he was OBVIOUSLY more guarded about Dooley.

I think Fulmer would take just about anything. I'm not a fan of this guy. I want him to go away. He had a nice run in the 90's no doubt. All the credit in the world there. But I will never forgive him for getting lazy, thinking kids would run to him. They didn't...we fell off a cliff because Fulmer got lazy. He's to blame for our downfall..no ifs ands or buts. He didn't keep young energetic coaches around for recruiting purposes. We got passed over night by other programs. I will never forgive him for that.

First off, I'm a huge UT fan, but facts are facts. The atmosphere at UT stinks. I wish BJ lots of luck. But with Hart and Cheek roaming the halls we are doomed. Hart flat out lied to you when he said Gruden had no interest...he in fact did. He wasn't cheap but he had interest...lots of it. Yes, my typing sucks....I was thinking faster than my ability to type. My bad. I still stand by. The fact Fulmer insulted a once proud program by getting lazy. I give him credit for a great run...but he let fans, alumni, himself, and former players down by getting fat and lazy. He deserves everything he got...including this dubious honor of this most ridiculous and embarrassing award.

Moron, the decline STARTED under Fulmer. He had nice run, he lazy (self admitted) and got passed up by several other SEC programs....Fulmer was the problem. Kiffin we got unlucky by the SC opening...Dooley was a last grasp find after we were rejected by 6 other coaches. Time will tell on BJ. Now shut your pie hole and think before you post.

Hart should have camped on Grudens doorstep until we had him. Word is Hart was/is intimidated by Gruden. Well phooey, since when does the AD need to have a bigger presence than the head football coach? The head coach is the brand along with the program! Hart stepped in a pile of sheet by not no hiring Gruden....that was our man, instant credibility, UT back in the headlines....but nooooooo. Mr Hart has blown it. When will it end?

I see a lot of blame going to Dooley, and rightfully so. But when will it be realized that our players continually get beat by the opposing player. When a db is in man coverage or cov 3 they have one job...don't get beat deep. The d line never gets any pressure on the qb, we always lose contain in crucial situations, and our linebackers can never cover anyone out of the backfield. C'mon...blame the players for being lousy players as much as you blame Dooley for being a lousy coach.
