I think I'm on the wrong site.

Written on UT safety Max Arnold, pushing for playing time, knew walk-on journey wouldn't be easy:

Sounds like there is a complete attitude change among players and coaching staff. Keep working as a Team and maybe we just might surprise a few opponents.

Written on RB Brandon Powell rescinds commitment to Vols:

One de-commit from a FLA. 3 star player and we get all of this from the trolls. Really makes you wonder what's happening with their programs.

Written on John Adams: Tennessee's quarterback competition no big deal if winner isn't big-time player:

Don"t forget we still have Jimmy Cheek to eliminate a few of these commitments.

Written on Govols247: Fla. lineman commits to Tennessee :

in response to RollTideJoe:

That is Rivals. 247 Sports, ESPN, and others are different. Lots will change by signing day for everybody. Certainly it is a big improvement for Tennessee over the past few years. Many of the very elite prospects hold off to check more programs and many times to get TV exposure such as the Under Armour and US Army games.

Now on top of 247 Sports rankings also.

Latest recruiting rankings have Tennessee #1 and Florida #21

Written on Bruce Pearl, staff timeline at Tennessee:

in response to SevenT:

The NCAA should vacate every win at UT while Pearl was coach.

Maybe KNS should vacate you from this site!

Written on Before arrest, Aaron Hernandez had brushes with violence at Florida:

in response to 8inarow:

When Jimmy Haslem ends up in the slammer, who will prop up the vols? Clearly the fans aren't.

Maybe you can penpal with Hernandez from his prison cell. They may even have a blog there for you to comment.

Written on Govols247: Former Terps RB transferring to UT? :

Will he have to sit out this season or was he released by Maryland?

Written on Lady Vols give up three-run lead in 11th, fall to Oklahoma in 12th in Game 1:

And where is Bama in the NCAA bracket. I failed to see their seeding.

Written on Evan's Eleven: 5-star RB Jalen Hurd's commitment to Tennessee is biggest catch of Butch Jones' tenure:

And the commitment train is picking up steam. Throw another shovel of coal in the boiler. Good news for Vol nation. Go CBJ and staff, keep it going and Go Big Orange.

Written on Ike Brown named assistant strength coach:

If only he had coached at Cincinnati sometime to put on his resume.

Written on Vols land a big one, 64-58, against Florida :

in response to 8inarow:

As I posted yesterday, Vols to line twice as many times as UF. However, home time-clock seemed to work this time (may not have if game was closer)

UF stayed with ut even with 2-key players out, and losing a 3rd in the game to an injury.

So, here is how it will play out.

Gators go deep in NCAA, vols lose early in NIT.

Happens ever year.

Happens every year.
Your lizards lose to Tennessee!

Took you a while to slither out of the swamp. Looked like Vols found that quarter sized hole on the top of your Gator head again.

Written on Vols land a big one, 64-58, against Florida :

in response to johnlg00:

WAY too much to be worrying about right now. I really don't think either Jarnell or Jordan is ready for the NBA right now, but if they get favorable evaluations from pro player personnel, I couldn't blame them for going.

Let's hope they don't get their evaluation from the
same person that Hopson got his.

Written on Vols land a big one, 64-58, against Florida :

Who is going to take Mcbee's spot next year? Before him it was Bradshaw. True Tennessee guys that love the Big Orange and lay it all out on the floor for TENNESSEE.

Slash hit 80% of the trash cans with a beer bottle. Much improved over last year.

He could probably hit you in the head with 8 beer bottles. Maybe it would improve your intelligence.

Written on Jay Graham leaving Vols for Florida State:

in response to oldster:

When is UT going to get some good news in football? I do not recall any since Fulmer was fired.

And how have things worked out since Hamilton drove that in the ditch!

Written on Fourth overtime Golden for Vols, 93-85:

Great win when we needed it. If McRae was not a scorer I would've had him on the bench,as he had two costly turnovers consecutively at the end of regulation. McBee played good defense on Turner even though he did score 38. Not many uncontested shots for Turner. Good switch off to Richardson to defend at end of game McBee finally seems to be finding his stroke. Get the boys home and ice them down and be ready to beat those Swamp lizards on Tuesday. Go Big Orange!!

Written on Govols247: Tennessee adds kicker as walk-on :

Welcome to Big Orange Country!
Any news on any new commits.
Going to be hard to field a Sec caliber team with preferred walk-ons, which is all the news I've seen lately on recruits. Well at least they want to play here.

Written on Poll: Should the Vols recruit more junior college football players?:

If it immediately plugs some needs and depth ,then yes

Written on Marshall Henderson talks the talk, walks the walk as Ole Miss sweeps UT, 62-56:

When the curtains come out, attendance is down and the concessions sales are down, and are being sold down the aisles. Then there will be change.

Written on Vols lose to Ole Miss, 92-74 in SEC opener:

in response to johnlg00:

The current Vol coaching staff scored more points in their collective playing careers than any other staff in college basketball. A teacher can teach, but only a student can learn.

Well they might need to dress up some of the coaching staff. Their teaching methods are not getting thru to their students

Written on Vols lose to Ole Miss, 92-74 in SEC opener:

If Hamilton was still here ,he would have given him a raise , contract extension ,and big buyout based on last season. This team is offensively challenged. Is there anyone on this staff that knows anything about teaching offense and shooting.

Written on UT men's basketball player Jeronne Maymon to redshirt :

Is Dwight Miller still on this team. He showed some promise last year when he got to play? Is he even on the bench?

Written on Derek Reese picks up the pieces for Vols, 51-47 :

If they can't score better than this, it's going to be a long SEC season.

National Enquirer

Written on USC gave Lane Kiffin loan for house, but there's a catch:

One of the most hilarious moments in SEC history is when Kiffin bolted from Tennessee after 1 season.

Priceless!

Man you were up early to find you had no presents or anyone to spend Christmas with!

Priceless

Written on Tennessee's Stokely Athletics Center closing down :

What a piece of Vol basketball history. witnessed some of the greatest games in Tennessee basketball history, along with some of the greateat players and rivalry coaches. How bout those warmups a show within it's self. Who can forget the matches between Mears - Rupp, Skinner,Newton Maravich, and Durham. All of past Tennessee greats to have played there. Also, all of the Lady Vol teams to have played there as Pat built the Lady Vol brand. All of the fantastic concerts and even a boxing match I attended there in my younger days. Lots of memories, she will be missed.
