This kid looks like a quality back. I think the reason UGA has not looked harder at him is because they have redshirt soph Moreno, redshirt freshman Caleb King ('07 4-star) RB, freshman Dontavious Jackson ('08 4-star) enrolled in Jan, freshman Richard Sameul('08 5-star) enrolled in Jan, Carlton Thomas ('08 4-star) arriving in this summer, and they had a March commitment from Washuam Ealey ('09 4-star). That makes three RB commitments with the 2008 class. There is only one ball to go around so I don't think they are taking another back with this class. UGA will focus on offensive/defensive tackles, tight-ends and receivers the rest of the way with maybe a LB and DB thrown in there.

I don't see size being a problem. The kid has yet to play his senior year so by the time he redshirts and spends a year or so in UGA's weight and conditioning program he will be a lean 300 lbs. I think they like his long arms, footwork and nasty disposition which are vital to playing tackle in the SEC. UGA will finally be getting to the position after this year where guys starting on the O-line will have been in the system for 2+ years learning and getting stronger before they are thrown out there. Which is the way it is suppose to work instead of having to start freshman like last year in this year. You never know how these guys will turn out. Hopefully he will meet the potential that the coaches see in him. UT, Bama, and UF were after him so there must be something they like. UT has certainty cherry picked its fair share of Georgia talent.

It is sad to see talented young men like Ryan Perriloux, Duke Crews, Ramar Smith and numerous other players around the country throw away the fantastic opportunities that they have been provided. This really puts in perspective how special of an individual, student, player and teammate Chris Lofton is.

Tragic. It is scary how every year there seems to be more and more of these bizarre sudden deaths in young people. May GOD give his family comfort and grace.

Good luck with the Cards tonight. Hopefully UofL still won't be shooting in the 60+% range. This is a great matchup in terms of coaching and styles. Go Vols and GO SEC.

This is great for college football and the SEC. If I am blessed enough to still be around then I will definately tune into this one.

On UT to play Ohio State in 2018, 2019

I don't blame the kid for leaving if the reasons are that he wants to play more. Some kids are content and just want to be a part of something big like UT, Bama, LSU and UGA. It does not matter if they see the field or not. Others know they are not going to play beyond college and just want to play as much as possible because they love the game. Especially with football when you are done your done. As a 36 yr old I would love to be able to play again. I don't think I ever really got it out of my system. Not because those were the best days of my life but because it was so much FUN!! Seems like this kid heard his clock a tick'n. Anyway your secondary is STACKED!!!

My prayers and thoughts go out to Victor's family and friends during this very difficult time. Though I have never had the opportunity to meet Victor I have heard many good things about him as a person. I definately enjoyed watching him play at Red Bank. As a Red Bank alum I am glad to hear that they plan on honoring him.
