John Adams can write whatever he wants. However, his logic is flawed. LSU's QB, the MVP of the SEC championship game, has now been suspended indefinitely. In the past, he's been linked by Federal investigators to a counterfeiting ring. Just in the past two weeks, a South Carolina player is arrested for possession of marijuana. An Alabama player is charged with burglary. Do you fire Les Miles, Steve Spurrier and Nick Saban? With all the Doug Atkins', Reggie White's and Peyton Manning's who have represented UT tremendously, to single out two former players is simply irresponsible to say the least. The News-Sentinel should have the stones to remove Mr. Adams from covering UT football. He's just no objective.

What about the walk-on punter who's coming in? Might he get Colquitt's scholarship?

If Casey Kelly signs a letter of intent in February then opts to play baseball in March, can Tennessee use his scholarship this year or would they in effect have lost a spot?

Greetings from Gator Country!! The Florida papers are reporting that Stan Drayton was asked not to return. They're quoting sources from within the Florida Athletic Department. Have you heard anything about that? I like the Clawson hire since it tells me Tennessee is staying with a pro-style offense. Tell your caller Mark my hometown is Johnson City. Go Vols!!

So far, the young man seems to have beaten a drinking problem. If he continues to whip it, he'll be a much better man than DCFlorida and dvols.
