it takes a Coach to bring out the God given abilities that these boys have, and i've seen them play several times, and this group of young men stand in no ones shadow when it comes to talent.
Respect, Discipline, Motivation and Communication are but some of the requirements and duties of the Coaching staff and it requires patients and hard work on their part, to achieve these things..what most people think is a given.

something going on!...a Coach has to have the respect of his players..for whatever reason, and from what i've seen, i not sure if raleigh is there yet..the title Coach carries a certain level of respect, however in the relationship between a Coach and player..it's not a given.
my point, the word FUBU was shouted by a player from UT's dugout..."For U By U" ...Players Need A Coach.

i post this with the privilege of hindsight..
GAME 3.."Raleigh was ejected in the sixth after home plate umpire Todd Henderson called out batter Kentrail Davis for touching home plate while hitting the ball. Raleigh piled dirt on home plate on his way to the dugout." kind of ironic don't you think? how did he put it, "We're not going to do that here," Raleigh said. "The wheels aren't going to come off if we're frustrated. We're trying to represent Tennessee and that's not what we're going to do."
don't get me wrong, when coach raleigh walked no to the job there were preset conceptions of who the starters were, and who and what the team was built around..no one's without faults and the coach is to be commended for their wins and not just condemned for their losses..only time will tell if he truly has ORANGE in his veins.

"Bunt play turns into the big play that spells defeat for Vols" the headline is dead on! they just simply out smarted themselves..would it have been different if the coach hadn't gotten himself tossed??

poor hitting and costly mistakes kept those dogs in the game..but why help them out buy putting a runner on base when the game is tied, with only one out, one man on base, and a battle of the defense's going on? i understand what you wanted too happen..but come on! you gave them the win!! you cost the game!!!

oops, my bad..patients(the way were pitching and hitting, we should be hospitalized!), patience..you seemed to understand what i was saying..i guess the stupid from some of these post are rubbing off on others :)
i like Raleigh as well, and i'm will to wait for the "test of time" results.
