"""""""It's frustrating when guys are hurt," Meyer said. "Still, at our staff meeting this morning I drew up our starting offensive line and I drew up everybody when they're healthy, and (it's) a pretty good-looking football team.

"""""

Have to say, it is good to see a coach not make or plan to make excuses about injuries and teams outlook.
That may change later if things don't go well.

Fulmer has complete control to shut all this 'negativity' up.
But he has to do it on the field and it won't stop till then.
He has to win and win the right games .

So you guys need to go talk to Fulmer and let him know you guys would really appreciate it if he would shut all this up.

I think more people would be happy than you think.

Some of you seem to name every TN paper's sports writer as anti-vol. I don't think you will find many outside TN you would agree with.
Here is an assignment. Is there one that meet your standards, if so, who, or are you looking for a cheerleader to write TN articles?

....wait a TN cheerleader of course.

I really think all the bias fuss should be directed at CBS.
I agree that there is a bias against the Vols at ESPN, but it is just as bad at CBS.
What makes it worse is that CBS is paid to cover the SEC and they are just horrible. The cover the bare min and then all you hear is Big 10 and Pack 10 from them.
They always promote from players from the other conferences for the Heisman, always promoting the other teams. When they have chances at double headers, they usually drop it.
The SEC would be better off to look for a new prime coverage media outlet.

Funny, but some of you act 'like your opinions really matter'.
I guess you will never learn.
It has been pointed out numerous times that there are people getting paid to determine what is an acceptable job.

Of course many of you complaining about Adams were the ones pointing that out.....

I'm sure some will complain no matter what, but the coaches can go a long way in determining what they have to complain about can't they?

I would certainly appreciate it if they gave a whole lot less things to complain about.

The offensive coaches honestly seem to be doing their part at the moment.

Can someone name the DTs recruited the last 2 seasons?

The new coaches seem to be doing a great job. Looks like we need more balance because so far the new ones are making the old ones look tired and worn out.

If you like the job the old coaches are doing, then how do you describe the job the new ones are, because that what we need all the coaches to be doing.

Why can't they wait until just after the Fl game to make the announcement?
Or why didn't they go ahead and do it just after the Cal, FL, or Bama games last year?

I'd be all for a 2 million dollar for winning the SEC CH game and a 4 million bonus for NC, with a million dollar salary but I think raises are out of the question.
If they want big money, give the ability to get it on the field, otherwise no big contracts, and no long terms. Too many used that excuse last year as why they couldn't afford to fire anyone.

You know-
Some of you that seem to spend all your time on here defending the football staff against any and all criticism, whether justified or not, - have you taken the time to realize, if the staff would just get better results on the field, your "job" would be a whole lot easier.

Maybe you guys should just send them a memo
