This is the only valid post since the others where when the Tigers starting 5 had declared for the draft. But with the C-USA schedule and the deep team Cal has put together we are still in a better spot to make a run and regardless of what any ut fan here states, a true college basketball wants a deep run in March!!

Let us in the SEC and lets see what would happen next. Football will NEVER be on par with UT football because of the economics of sports today. Without the BCS dollars basketball is really our only sport here. Based on the dollars spent on sports and the SEC TV contract ut basketball should be better than Memphis.

Dozier6'9", Taggart 6'10", Tyreke Evans 6'5" (since we play a 3 guard set), Wesley Witherspoon 6'8", Angel Garcia 6'10",Matt Simpkins 6'9", Niles, and Roburt Sallie 6'5" will fill the open spots for Memphis. As I said Negedu 6'7", would have to fight for playing time so he will play at ut quicker. Plus, the players in Cal's system have to be able to handle the ball and that was a question about him.

Show me one site that has ut over memphis. juco players addressed needs for both teams so that is a wash. And again Negedu is a short pwoer forward that would be better off playing for ut than sitting in memphis. Addressed enough for you?

That is why the current rankings have Memphis#9 and vols#20.
And excuse me he was one of the best and the JC player of the year in CA. He fills a spot that D Mack left open when he whined about PT. Plus you should thank us since we kept him away from Kentucky.
