Just reread the article from back in January. Alabama was the first to offer him last spring but he delayed commiting until last fall when he was told they were out of scholarships. He then commited to Kentucky. Tennessee called on him late but gave him a better chance at the NFL in his mind, than Kentucky.

Alabama did offer a scholly to him. But we beat out Kentucky for his services in the end.

"like Berry" just doesn't have the ring to it that "like Mike" does. Gotta come up with something.
How many more years until kids response to "be like Mike" is "who?"

Most impressive statement by this young man: "Long term (foal) is to graduate in three years."
Second most impressive statement: "uses technique and speed to get around players. That’s something I do a lot."
Dumbest question: "Are you going to end up on 'Dancing With the Stars'”

MParker, but all that stress on fans is mental. And some need to have lobotomies to deal with it.
Just think about 250+ lbs force on those knees and then running putting x times that amount on them. My dad dropped 30 lbs once due to illness. Afterward he said that was the best his knees had felt in 40 years.

The "gleam in the eye" comment sounds like an off the cuff remark without much thought or analysis. To Workin's point, how did Lapides not see a gleam in 2005 when Fulmer was handing out superlatives in preseason but supposedly saw one in 2003?
Question now is why is there a gleam now? Could be the end of the inbreeding of OCs has opened Fulmer's eyes. Will it be any good? No conclusions until October.

TJ, yep, I admit.
Over, you come in peace. Wish to keep it that way. All in good fun.

Does anyone definitively know whether John Adams has any input into the website? Articles in the newspaper, yes but the website format? What exactly is the criteria for the EPpy award?
