I still don't understand what law or team rule he broke. For those closer to the program than I, please share...I'm all ears.

Yes, he should have spilled his guts confessing to breaking his own windows and arguing with his gf. Sounds like a scared kid that's pretty sure only BAD can come from this situation. It was bad judgment, but he was right. Is that grounds for punishment?

The police were definately doing their jobs to investigate, but I wonder how many parties these cops have broken up w/out writing a drinking citation?? Yes, underage drinking (on a college campus - in a private residence - after going to bed) is illegal...so is jaywalking.

Again, what difference does it make if the guns are for hunting or for collecting dust? It's a non-issue.

Most of the time I'm shaking my head and exhausted by 9 or 10 posts down and I go on to the next article.

This kid didn't do anything wrong. He broke into his own house and had an argument with his GF...that should be end of story.

His and the ladies "uncooperation" with the police was no doubt for fear of being thrown under the bus by local law enforcement, media, and people like many of you. Unfortunately, it wouldn't have mattered how they handled it. The story would have been twisted either way.

I am glad the burglary investigation wasn't a total loss. They were able to site 3 college students for underage drinking to cap off a riviting article. Thank God we have protection from blood thirsty **** like that.

And good lord people, what difference does it make if he has guns in his apartment. I bet he has some furniture, a TV, and couple of throw pillows as well. Thank goodness they didn't find his steak knives.
