WR speed/size, cromptons ability to throw the deep ball WELL, and a solid run game=multi faceteted offense that, given the right play calling, can put up 30 on virtually any D. the pieces are there, now the guys just gotta make em fit, go vols

Just wait till Pearl REALLY gets these new players into shape and fits them into his offense. His 'controlled chaos' is gonna be something special with these kind of athletes lead by Tyler Smith's maturity.

Eaaaasy on Austin, yeah he dropped a few passes but u remember the one he held on to against Miss State? He got ROCKED and made a game changing catch (hes a tough sob). Austin will be a soild slot guy this year, just think though Zach would have his brother's matrutity rubb off on him, that combined with his talent could make for a very good receiver.

Alot of people on here should remember two years ago when Crompton came in to replace Ainge, who had an ankle injury, and almost beat a VERY good LSU secondary complete with Laron Landry and all their excellent seniors from this year, who will be playin pro-ball very soon. If not for two HORRIBLE 'no-holding' calls we in fact would have won the game...this was a Crompton with no starts and two less years of experience who came out and played a very toughed hard-nosed game. What it boils down to is NEW OFFENSE vs. John Chavis defence with renewed attitude (al la the secondary) Crompton has a gamer attitude and natural ability, please don't nay say until they have plenty of time to get comfortable...

I think it's quite obvious Morley knows how to handle his priorities now, (after living in your car for a while I'm sure the gravity of the situation sinks in) so I think we can all get off his back about the academic issues. On a lighter side, the talent level and leadership present in our secondary is just...plain...scary. Berry is mature well beyond his years, Morley is as driven and resilient as they come, and Vinson is a warrior (how many times did they have to reset his seperated shoulder on the sidelines and he goes back in next play?) I CAN'T wait to see these guys in action together, with three serious playmakers in the same secondary there is no way to throw away from them all. If we can slow the run, or jump ahead like Clawson plans...watch out for the Vols this year...
