Well, I can't believe some of you are even thinking/talking Spurrier. Bowden's a better choice than that. I guess you now know I'm actually not Lou Holtz with that comment.

What's wrong with being short guys? I'm actually Lou Holtz.

maybe I just got a little carried away - with the way things are going looks like it will get worse before....anyway, Bowden seems like a good fit and proven winner in the SEC. You see what happended when Dick Vermiel came back. Terry was telling Jim how being away from the game and analyzing has given him fire/desire and fresh ideas.

DID YOU GUYS NOT HEAR THAT? Terry Bowden said yesterday on the Jim Rome show that he is "throwing his name in the hat at the end of this season to see what is out there" Man, that is something to seriously think long and hard about isn't it? I hope the UT decision makers heard that one. Here is a guy you know would love to coach an SEC program with UT's resources. Or, he gets away.....

As a heart attack. He said he is making himself available at seasons end.

Who do the Vols get tomorrow, Van/Ark winner? What time is the game and is it on TV?
On Lofton's 3-pointer lifts Vols in closing seconds, 89-87
