Must not like Georgia, but I think they can both happen, and you are allowed your opinion, as I see it you need to be up 28 points going into the 4th quarter against Georgia and I do not see Tennessee doing that but I hope so !

Not a good post alot of misinformation, Kiffin is making what he is making for a good reason, he is taking less money as he was able to pay his dad and other great coaching to come here, I do not have a problem with that it will make him a better coach, and he will get his contract soon.

I have taken up for Crompton all year and Iwas lucky enough to get the game for free on my laptop on the internet, which is better than watching it on a big screen.

There was alot of dropped passes, I call alot 5 at least one of those went for an INT. And a couple of bad routes by the receivers,which I think evened out with a couple of great catches, so I have Crompton being 25-34 with close to 300 yards and one less INT. What concerned me the most is the big plays he missed and I will admit I am getting a little tired of him throwing up his hands like it is always interference or letting everyone know it was not his fault, but I ask you try to be sensible and show respect for the team and the state of Tennessee, just point out the facts and do not act like the hillbillys that we in the south are sometimrs referred too.

His name is Crompton not Crapton that is not funny it is insulting and backwards, It is Lane Kiffin not LAME KIFFIN, I am begining to think it will take a miracle for Crompton to turn it around but do not be surprised if he starts a NFL game before Eric Ainge.

Iknow it is hard for some of you but try to show some class,I do wish he had a A.J.Green to throw to.

The way I see it, the Vols CAN'T LOSE today.
Here's why:

If Florida wins by 50, that's what everyone expected anyways.

If UT keeps it close, then recruits and media start saying, "Kiffin can coach up his players who obviously aren't as talented across the board as Florida."

If UT wins... "Rocky Top all night long"!

Strange as it sounds, Kiffin's snarky comments have actually put Florida in the situation of anything less than a monstrous beat-down of the Vols today will be seen as sign of the Vols soon resurgence.

So in the long run, the Vols won't lose today, even if we don't win the game.

The Gators have the media so blind that they cannot see the facts.
The Gators are talented and deep. But, they have played 2 cupcakes and are still 7th in the SEC in total defense. They have not been hit yet. If you watch some of those passes that the Gators completed on the patsies they have played, our secondary must be drooling. Anyone who doesn't think the Vols will compete is a fool. We have the best 2 running backs in the game.We may also have the better receivers. We have the best dback in college football. Cunningham looks much improved, as do the coverage teams. Hate to go too Johnny Majors on ya, but, if we can establish the run, play swarming defense and not turn the ball over, we can beat Florida or anybody else.

Geagia was @ 1 last year I explained to some of my GA. friends and fans not to get their hopes up as they would lose 3 to 4 games last year, am I a profit no, i simpy have a gift oe understand football, and studied their team just like when UT was ranked @ 1 with a 2nd year Q-b and a defense that was not as good as the year before I told my friends it was not going to happev, this year USC,again ranked high and I have said they would lose two games weel that may change as the true freshman q-b I had counted on losing those two games is hurt this actually can help USC, sure they beat an overanked Ohio State team, bur he was not going to be the comeback kid for them evry game, antway go Vols try to be fans even if we lose today, do not act like we are all bi-polar but do not undereastimate are team, we can beat florida it will not be luck we will make big plays and hope we are not to banged up on the offensive line that is where we will be hurting the most, i hope they get healthy in the swamp.

appears to me that it is Kiffin's fault for playing jones and moore with no practice. Especially, since; the frosh. had earned the jobs in practice and were promised if they earned the jobs they would play. I agree with some posters that the whole off. was bad. The off. line couldn't move the def. for UT's running backs and Price was all over Crompton. I appreciate Jones wanting to take the blame, but Jones didn't put Jones into the game. Kiffin did. Teague and Richardson had earned the right to run the routes and have Crompton throw to them. And that's all I have to say about that.
