A very average Ala team beat Leach and Texas Tech in a bowl game two years ago. I think he would improve our present situation, but not put us above AL or FL. The SEC is a better defensive league overall than the Big-12 and defense wins championships, although I agree we need some offense to sell some tickets.

We have yet to recover a fumble and we will need one against Bama to win. Also, we don't need Berry in G-gun unless we throw out of it. It will only gain a few yards and waste time. If Berry is so good with the ball, why isn't he returning punts and kick-offs?

Yes, Vandy is better coached than UT, but it will catch up with them....they are last in the SEC in total offense and total defense. Statistics don't lie.

Stanford looks like the best passing team I have ever witnessed in the women's game. They will get open shots and if they hit their normal percentage against us, then they will win. I think Parker will score more without Fowles (fouls, too) to alter her shots. But she has to mix it up more and get on the offensive glass. We must hit some jumpers to have a chance.

UConn would kill us if they played today. Nicky and Angie have to get some points for us. Hornbuckle has not been the same since she missed a game for some mysterious illness or injury. UT has some serious improving to do to make it to the final against UConn.

When the press conference was first announced, it was announced that Brady would coach tomorrow. However, since then, it has been announced that he would not coach and the asst coach would take over for the remainder of the season.

Patterson did foul out, it just wasn't called. He fouled JuJuan on the drive after the shoot and that was the worst call I have seen this year. He also repeatedly jumped on the backs of several players who had position to get rebounds which were intentionally overlooked. I would like to see Tabb in the game when their guards are driving around us at will at the end of the game. We shut them out in the first half, but they took over in the second. A fresh Tabb would have been very helpful. We will be better defensively when Duke can play. I think we just lost our focus and legs in the last ten minutes. We will be fine.
