On Call into the Vol frustration line

What? Not in the top 100? Offers from Dayton and Toledo? Our recruiting is in the crapper, the coaches are clueless, etc., etc.

Sarcasm intended. You can't teach smart and I'm sure the coaches saw some good ability. Welcome kid.

On UT report card for UCLA

Regarding the gamecocks, their O-line allowed pressure and their D-line allowed plenty of yards on the ground. I'm much more concerned about MSU coming to Neyland with Anthony Dixon.

On South Carolina looks Smelley in opener, 34-0

I didn't see NCSt defense get worn down as much as they gave up. After their starting QB went out and the backup kept throwing picks they lost any fire they had. In the 3rd quarter their sideline was pathetic and they were only down 10, but seemed to accept that a L was guaranteed w/the backup QB leading.

It's a great time to be a Volunteer. That schedule is just fantastice. Football will always be #1 in my heart but I love how the scheduling is more flexible from year-to-year in basketball.

I think most students will tell you the quality of the advisors is pretty poor. Most of them are students themselves.

However, one would hope that the Ath. Dept. has qualified and trained advisors that can make decisions in accordance with university policy. If this class doesn't meet requirements then obviously the advisor that made the call failed miserably in his/her job and should be shown the door.
