Coach Fulmer will not resign. By resigning he will not get his 5 million dollar buy out. Dignity is not worth losing 5 million, no matter how much pride you have. Vols may only win one more game. Wyoming.

On Pass, still fail for Vols

Is it me or did our wild hog set work for big gains 4 out of 5 times we ran it. I don't understand why we didn't run it more. That is the only question I have about the coaching scheme.

Whoever said that we should have played Crompton more is way off. Ainge has clearly been the better QB. I think Crompton will be ready next year though.

Bedmajic made a good point about Hancocks rout. I thought he should have met the pass, resulting in an incompletion. He just lazily turned and stopped.

In any case. Great season so far vols. I hope we win our bowl game to give us some momentum for next season.

On Vols stand behind Ainge

Fulmer has 8 10 win seasons. This could make 9. Gosh, we should fire him. He's just not getting done. I wonder how many other college coaches can boast 9 10 win seasons?

Go Vols.

On UT's Brown says LSU players still reeling

A few points to ponder when looking at the season to this point.

California game-we get stuffed trying to punch it in inside the Cal 5. They return a punt for a huge momentum shifting touchdown. Two huge turning points that we could not overcome.

Florida-we are right where we want to be to start the second half. Down 7 and just forced a Florida punt. We fumble, they return it for a touchdown. Momemtum shifts and our young team never recovered.

In both of those games we could not overcome the negatives.

Alabama just whipped us in the second half without discussion.

Fast forward to the present. When adversity strikes we have stood tall in recent weeks. I think it is a testament to the coaching staff and their resilience to overcome tough times. If you guys could quit hating the negatives so much and look at what we do well. We have shown a tremendous amount of effort and guts in making to Georgia and I am one volunteer fan that is dang proud.

Go Vols.

On Poll: Does UT need to win the SEC championship to be a success?

Posted on November 18 at 8:42 p.m.

To say that any team in the country should be in the national championship hunt every year shows your ignorance, especially an SEC team. Looking at Tennessee over CPF's career, I would definately say that we have not been mediocre. It disgusts me to see so called volunteer fans almost ruiting against Tennessee. You guys have no class and I hope UT gets that shot to ruin LSU's national championship hopes. Go Vols.

On UT Report Card

I hate Tennessee Coach Haters. Winningest active coach in college football. I wish all you freikin idiots would just look at the numbers and shut the %$#@ up. At the beginning of the season all the predictions were that this team would finish anywhere from at best 9-3 to 7-5. It looks to me like we have a pretty good shot at finishing 9-3. If you finish with arguably the best possible record considering your schedule, then to me, that is an outstanding season. I wish all you fools could see that. Next year Tennessee is going to be loaded if we can decide who the quarterback is going to be. For now though, great job Phillip Fulmer and the Tennessee Vols. You have over achieved this year, and this vol fan is proud.

On UT Report Card

A 30 day suspension in complete isolation from the team for a minor amount of Mary Jane found at his residence. That seems fair. It's not like they caught him growing it or blazing up at Neyland on the 50 yard line. Come on people. If he had failed a drug test that would be a different story. I will say that Pearl is a pretty good disciplinarian by most coaches standards. He cut Major loose, and you know that had to be hard and probably cost us a final four last year. He was the missing piece to that team. If Brucey could stay away from miss blonde Juicy, I would have complete and total respect for the man.

On Crews back on team after suspension

Thanks Nickelsvol. I believe whether or not UT runs the table and wins the East that Fulmer deserves at least another couple of years to develop this class of freshmen. He and his staff are great recruiters and next years season looks tremendously bright. Not that this year still can't be very good. If I'm wrong let me know, but isn't the core of our offense and defense all back next year. I hope that no potential players get on these boards and read the ignorance spewed by the majority of the so called volnation. I bet South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Kentucky would be extremely happy to be in Tennessee's shoes right now. I am one UT fan that is still proud to be a Vol. I just pray that UT runs the table so all you haters will enjoy some nice big juicy crow for the holiday season.

On Vols showed just enough fight to save season

Posted on October 28 at 5:15 p.m.

Everyone is asking for Fulmers head, because we are a better program than 8-4 and 7-5. If I'm not mistaken isn't it Philip Fulmer that raised those expectations. What were his averages before the national championship, and what are his averages since. If he gets fired I hope you idiots get just what you deserve. No coach is going to be able to meet the expectations in Knoxville. And even if they could why would they come here knowing that all the rednecks of the volnation will be calling for their head if they don't win a national championship or an SEC championship in the first season. I hope you all realize that no coach is going to want to come here because of you.
