I was wondering the same thing preacher...after watching the re-air of the game today, I kept asking myself if he'd come to. I hadn't seen him play much though do you know if he's any good?
Here's the link for everyone to see along with a video with his commitment.

I saw it listed last night on espn3's page as being one of the games they'll have playing, which I hope remains to be true. I mentioned in another post that I get tired of hearing it on the radio lol.

I've seen some games that CSS aired on espn3...will that be the case for this one? I really do get tired of hearing the games on the radio...lol

Free???? and thanks for the reply
This is off topic but I believe the game is on CBS right?? If so there's no way for me to watch it on espn3 is there?? *I know, probably stupid question, but when you don't have cable you do what you can to avoid the radio lol*

GO VOLS!!!
Since this is on CSS and I have direct tv, am I gonna have to listen to this game on the radio, or will it possibly be covered on one of direct tv's sports channels? Anyone know?
CSS???? :( Does Direct TV offer anything like that...I don't wanna have to listen to the game on the radio, if I don't have to.
I have planned to attend a UT game, and I dang well will. Just not sure when. I know it'll be well worth the wait when I get to make it. Been a Vols fan since the late 80's, when I actually knew what was going on in football, and have yet to make it to a game. To all my fellow Vols fans that go to games, enjoy it! Looking forward to seein a game live one day!!
GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
great article! hope Teague and Meline both do wonders for us on the D...by the way...who is C++oach Dooley?? lol Just the many typo's to come to expect from a KNS article.

Rich thanks for the heads up. I checked Pat Martion out,and he says that TN is wife, the other schools are his girlfriends, and that it will take a lot to divorce him from TN! He reminds me a little of Berry. Don't get me wrong, there will never be another Eric Berry, but Martin's play style is pretty impressive. Here's the link to his video if anyone is interested!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kF9Dys...

Thank you vol4gzus for the nice post to a great story! I turned my life around in the 7th grade. I to was in sports throughout school. The grace of God gave me my talents that I still have to this day.
As for you untamed. Yes God does control every second of the day. And that's all I'm gonna say to that as you clearly have no interest in having a relationship with God Almighty! Come judgement day you'll realize why a relationship with Him is so important, but by then it'll be to late. God says, " I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end saith the Lord, which is, and which was and which is to come, the Almighty" Revelation 1:8
My faith in God is what gets me through the tough times I've faced and get's me through each and every day that I live.

I just recently got direct tv and feel I'm going to be missing out on a lot of the UT games this year. Please tell this isn't true? I hope not! Does anyone know if direct tv will air the O&W game on any of the sports package channels?
Did they really expect anything less from us lol...bout time they took a hint!

"Lane Kiffin is not Tennessee," Glen Fulton said. "He does not represent Tennessee. Tennessee is the institution. It's not the man, it's not the individual, it's the institution. In this particular case, we're buying the institution"
I couldn't of said it better myself Mr. Fulton! More players need to think like Zach's dad!!

Welcome to Big Orange Country Hunter!!
Unlike some posts I've read on here, I don't really care who is the coach. UT will always be UT. I will support our coach 110% no matter if I agree with the hire or not. All that matters is showin that loser Kiffin what he's gonna miss out on in the years ahead.
Do I want UT to hire someone with ties to the Vols, yes, I think Kippy would do a fantastic job here at UT, but I ultimatley as well as everyone else on this board, unless they are on TN's board of trustees, has no say so in who we hire. We can b*tch and moan all we want too, but it all goes on deaf ears.
in response to allvol32: Officiating Report Card F The four worst calls/no calls: 1. Pass interference on Rico McCoy when Rico was a full step behind the receiver. The announcers commented about the call calling saying that they didn't see the foul. 2. The pass interference NO call when Luke Stocker was running down the sidelines and the Vandy defender was holding his right arm down with it appeared to be both of his own hands while Stocker was attempting to catch the ball. The announcers commented about the no call and the holding of Stocker's right arm by the Vandy defender. 3. The interfering with the snapper call that gave Vandy the ball deep in UT territory - announcers were calling it a gift after watching replays. I find it very telling that this penalty was called earlier in the day in the Alabama - UT Chattanooga game. I've never seen this penalty called ever and to see it called in two games on the same day by SEC officiating crews smells worse than fishy. 4. The pass interference call on I think Anthony Anderson on the play where Dennis Rogan intercepted the ball in the end zone apparently ending a Vandy drive. Again several replays from several angles showed Anderson with both hands in front of the Vandy receiver tipping the ball into the air. It was a great defensive play. Once again the announcers were quite perplexed by the call commenting on it at length. Every one of these plays was critical but numbers 2 through 4 above were undeniably game changers. In a game that was fairly close until Big Dan's interception return for a touchdown while carrying a Vandy would-be tackler on his back for the last 8 yards these calls very well could have given Vanderbilt a huge win against TN. The officiating this year in the SEC is the worst that I can remember ever seeing in 40 years of watching SEC football. The guys on Sports Talk this morning suggested that the SEC with it's billions of revenue from ESPN must spend whatever it takes to make sure that the SEC officiating is professional and above reproach. The SEC touts itself as the premier college football conference in America and I agree with that. Unfortunately the SEC appears to have a level of officiating that wouldn't be tolerated at the high school level. The replay booth is an absolute joke in that it doesn't even use high definition monitors to view the replays. You can buy an HD monitor for about $300 and almost all SEC games are already broadcast in HD- this is absolutely inexcusable. It's kind of like owning an expensive sports car that you're driving around that's never been washed, has bald tires and still has the original oil in the engine. If you're a car guy or a football guy then either one of these situations is absolutely unacceptable.

I do agree we gotta do a lot better on D against KY...Cobb is mobile, and I believe they have a variation of the wildcat, not the team name lmao.
GO VOLS!!! Soak this win up, eat some good turkey thursday come back ready to beat the Wildcats!!!
That was a nice catch by Stocker! Great to see our offense moving the ball this week. Hope our D steps up and we shut Vandy out in the 2nd half!

on topic...awesome effort from the guys and hope we can carry it into Bama...GO VOLS!!!!!!!!
Congrats on your first SEC win Coach!!! VOLS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep up this momentum guys and we stand a chance against Bama!
Stephens has checked into the game...lets see if he can continue his accomplishments when he started his career with 105 straight passes without an INT..I tell you though, I sure have missed the Vols. It's exciting to see the Vols back to their old ways! Keep up this momentum and play like this against Bama, and I think we stand a great chance against them.
GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!
I like the intensity, something this team has been missing for a while. Kiffin, keep the guys fired up and energized and good things will happen for this team...the 5% step up guys, your on this team for a reason, to be great, you can't achieve that if your slacking. Bring out the fire Kiffin has, bring out the intensity in the games as you have recently, and keep on keepin on :)
first half had its up and downs...crompton well i dunno what to say other than his first drive looked good, he threw an int in the 2nd drive i believe and hasn't looked sharp...24-17 at the half.
Jenzen Jackson sure is lighting the Bobcats up...him and Berry both!

i'm looking for a number here. i wasn't bashing crompton, i was simply asking a question you idiot.
Hope this helps you some Orangepride...looking at Stephens bio on utsports.com and this is what it has listed...
In 7 games he was 63-130 for 840 yards and had 4 td passes and 3 ints.
Crompton in 8 games was 86-167 for 889 yards and had 4 td passes and 5 ints. He was also a 2007 Academic All-SEC
Threw in that extra stat to show everyone that not all things Crompton does is bad. Overall Crompton has thrown 9 Td's and 9 ints in his college career. Crompton has the potential. My friend who attends church on a weekly basis, is also a manager for the Vols, he told me that Crompton looks phenomenal on the practice field but has an issue transferring it to the game field...lets hope that changes against Ohio. I'm ready to see Crompton show everyone why he was ranked so high coming out of high school.
in response to Weatherman: I agree...a change needs to be made. Get a QB that can either run, or pass, or both...to keep the defense off balance and from pinning their ears back and putting 8, 9, even 10 in the box to stop the run...which is our only viable option at offense at present. Goodness, anyone can do the job JC is doing right now. Surely, Lamaison (who threw for 3500 yards and 36 td's last season) and/or NS can hand a ball off and maybe complete a forward pass...or put Nuke or another speedy signal caller in the backfield and run a simple veer or wishbone.

Speaking of Lamaison, what's the latest on him? I heard so much about him coming out of JUCO but haven't heard nothing since he came to play for us. Anyone got any idea, if not I can ask a buddy of mine, he's a manager for the Vols.
This is a no troll zone! All trolls crossing into this area are subject to a harsh reality that the TN faithful are and will always be faithful to our team. If you wish to cross into the zone, not only will you witness the meaning of a true fan, but you will also witness the reality that you will never ever be deemed intelligent! Thank you for your time and........
P.S. VolFan21...I saw that too...but shhh that's a secret between Urbie and little Timmy :). Also, W_D if things work out for me, I'll be at the game next year wearing a UT PD uniform :) so hopefully by then there will be a vaccine for this nasty flu the Gators contracted lol

Let's see...yes Tn lost, yes Kiffin can coach, and if memory recalls correctly, plus videos and pics all over the net, Tebow didn't run over Berry. Berry was knocked into by two tn players after they hit Tebow on his way down. By the way, I do believe Tebow and Berry both commented on that hit. What ya'll gators need to do is ask Brandon James what it felt like when he got nailed by a true freshman.
Don't get me wrong the game was physical, I just personally feel that TN was more physical than UF. Just my opinion!
I'm happy with the team. Hate the broadcasters! Our Vols look good. Yes even with a loss this is still huge for us. Supposed to of been blown out, I guess alot of betters are going to be broke after this game lol. Not to mention ending Timmy's consective games with a TD pass! I look for good things to come from this TN team!!
