Way to go Maurice. Congratulations for getting it together and turning your life around. Your wife and kids will be proud!! Maybe you could stick around campus and try to help those who are much younger than you are but think much like you did. Maybe we could see fewer offseason headlines made by student-athletes and more headlines about young people who are prepared for life after college.

I'm sorry to say that Billy Gillespie didn't get any votes for COY. I guess that great turnaround for his Cats didn't resonate with the national media like it did for SEC coaches.
Congrats on a great year Coach Pearl and the basketball team. I'm still in awe of a team that won 31 games in a single year. (I think it took four years to do that when I was in school.) Let's get 'em next year!!

No surprise here about Casey Kelly. I say take the money now. Lots can happen in three years like injury, ineffectiveness at the college level, or a potential rookie salary cap. (Not sure when MLB's collective bargaining agreement ends, but I see all the major sports implementing a rookie cap in the not-too-distant future.) Good luck Casey.
