West seems likes he's going to be a great true player. He may not be the flashy 20 ppg player but I think he will be a key contributor for 4 solid years. This class, although not as highly touted as the Chism, Crews, Smith class seems like it could be big.
I think it would be a big help to get Maze but West will be able to play I'm sure.
I know it's saying alot already but I just picture in my mind him being a Dane Bradshaw type of guy who is a good leader/ scores neccesary points/ makes the clutch plays.

Thing is, if you ask the NCAA leaders would they not tell you that they are in business for the fans? Who believes that nonsense. It's all about money and the earliest we could see anything would be six years from now becaue of TV contracts. And yeah, it won't happen then because that would require a Big 10 or Pac 10 team to play an extra game possibly, and more than likely play an SEC team, we all know OSU doesn't want that happening.

also, overrated, you don't have any room to sit there and talk about Memphis beating UT. You can say well next year you will beat us, but in truth you could have said that in the past couple of years but you know its wrong then too. Don't pull this well in the past 3 years we are 1-2, next year 2-2, the year after 3-2.

Memphis is a good basketball team, anyone who argues is just biased about their arguement. But they did choke, at least they get extra timeouts next year because Coach Cal decided he wanted to keep them with him. Memphis is more talented than UT however they are not near UT in talent of the coach.
Scotty Hopson will probably be a one and done however with the style the Vols play with spreading the ball around his stats may take a hit and he may not leave (we can only hope).
Also I agree, next year use the scholarship from Tyler on another big player and leave one from Jackson from Memphis.

Why is it that Kentucky fans always have to refer to their national championships and SEC Championships that they won 10 years ago. I think we've finally stopped referring to our 98 national championship in football so maybe the Cats should do the same.
Thing is with Billy G is that he's offering knowing he can take them back if they do not develop. Yeah it will make him look bad if he does, but that will be in four to five years.
Also, what if Billy G already has some players on scholarship that want to stay when these two 9th graders want to come to UK?
