WR23 that is not what the nation is saying, it is what one "idiot" writer is saying. This guy has not written anything that has meaning and does not have a "racist" tone to it in "forever".

It only matters that you are number 1 at the end of March Madness, now number 1 can get you a sweet seed in the tournament, but bottom line is that you have win the number 1 ranking in basketball.

Mr. Adams you are suppose to report the facts and leave your personal opinion out of it. Yes, there are problems at UT, Alabama, Florida, LSU, South Carolina, everywhere in College Sports. First, why don't we fire the parents who did a poor job of diciplining these young people when they were growing up, always trying to be their best friend instead of their parent!

Would it not be nice if parents would actually be parents these days, instead of trying to be their child's best friend. This stuff has to be instilled in the home, not by their football coach. The coach can only discipline after the fact, the problem in America is that parent don't dicipline before the fact!

Did Florida win a second National Championship with the Spread? No, they won the one last year with tough defense and a QB that was more a pocket passer than anything else! Did West Virginia win a National Championship, or did I miss something? General Neyland ran the Spread, it was called the single-wing, Gentlemen, football has not been re-invented. Running the football and playing solid defense wins championships. When dust settles in New Orleans, tell me which team wins a championship. It will be the one that runs the football most effectively, and does not turn it over!

You guys just don't get it! Football has not changed in the 100+ years it has been played. It comes down to blocking and tackling, just that simple. Whoever, wins the line of scrimmage and turnovers usually wins the game. It's all about recuriting and execution. The team with the most athletes, wins 9 out of 10 times. General Neyland and his offense would still win in todays game.

Well, just don't let me hear that we need to hire someone to run the spread, folks we ran the spread in 1957 with Johnny Majors running the show, it was called the single-wing, we just didn't throw out of it as much as they do now, so the spread is not a new invention of football. I would like to see Kippy back at UT, but Walt Harris is out there and available, also. Just remember you have to have a system and a cooridinator to fit your personel.
