THE_VOL. The NBA drug policy is weak at best. Why don't you go roll you one idiot. You named off a handful of players that were decent citizens.

These two dolts aren't a big loss. A point guard that can't shoot a FT and role player in the paint that is giving you 5 points? These two would never make it in the NBA but they could of contributed a little to this program and give the fans some good memories along while getting a good education.

Why don't we read the facts on MaryJane.

UTvols12342000 you are mistaken.
For one thing, I have never met a "pothead" that was worth the time of day. They care more for there drug than taking care of there kids and there well being. I love the fact that my tax dollars have to go to pay for drugs for these dead beats? If the potheads aren't taking care of there kids my tax dollars are. The money has to come from some where? If the drug user is taking there money that should be used to take care of kids they don't want then my tax dollars have to fill the void.
That is one of the reasons that I don't watch the NBA. Not only it is a poor product on the floor there are nobody to root for that is a decent citizen. If the NBA tested for weed and illegitimate kids then 85% of the league would be gone. Again, my tax dollars have to come thru and take care of those kids. I loved how Karl Malone told his son "It's too late for me to me your dad...you'll have to make your own money" Thanks Karl you POS.

This just opens up a chance for two others to step up to the plate. I never had the chance these kids had to play ball on a collegiate level and get a free education. It frustrates me that these people can't keep straight and do what needs to be done as student athletes.
Some people get all the breaks in life and they still can't cash in and take advantage of it. I don't feel any remorse for these two idiots. For every Chris Lofton...they're 50 Ramar Smiths and Duke Crews out there. Character counts in life...learn it..embrace it fellas.

Hefney was constanly out of position and always got burned. Did anyone think he was going to get drafted?? He'll get a invite and a chanced to make a team but to think that a team would burn a draft pick on this guy is smoking crack. I wish him the best and hope that he represents UT well at the next level

I think it was a good pick-up for the Jets. I thought either them or KC would of got him

Well Steele has his degree..Good luck to him. I personally think he is through as a basketball player and should go on to grad school and enhance his status in the business world.
