It is time for Kenny boy and the rest of the "Bearites" to hang it up. This is a new era for "Bammer" and Saban should break the old ties and build a new foundation upon which he can develope his program.The Bear has left the building!!

As we all know, top rated college softball is about pitching, pitching, and more pitching. OK coaches---do some recruiting. Lady Vols should be reloading--not rebuilding.

What has happened to the pitching?? A dominating fast pitcher is necessary to win in todays college softball. The two current hurlers are not getting the job done as we have been use to in the past few years. come on coaches--do some recruiting--they are out there. 14-9 in the SEC is not up to par.

very good article John. Ainge got the Vols to the championship game with several outstanding comebacks. He is no Manning or Brady but he got the job done. We all make mistakes and Eric was no exception. He played LSU down to the wire and took the loss with dignity. He made no excuses for his performance. The Vols could have folded mid-season but they won the east. Congrats to the Big Orange.

I don't blame Petrino for bailing out as the Falcons were terrible to start with. After they lost Vick, it became a disaster. In my humble opinion, college football is the only game in town.

Just one time I would like to see the Vols pull out all the stops in a bowl game. USe every trick in the play book and go for broke. What the heck have they got to lose? Loosen up this conservative game plan crap and have some fun. Win--lose--whatever.

I failed to mention Lincoln missing 6 points which may well have made a difference in the 4th quarter.
You cant have both QB and kicker choking and hope to win.

I like the "geezer" edition------I was a freshman on the hill in 1959 and got to see this incredible win for the Vols. Cannon was the real deal in 1959 but the Vols shut him down when it really mattered.
