On Drops not whole story for Foster

I cannot believe it has come to this, but I'm done being a Vols football fan until they do what even a casual football fan knows needs to be done and get some coaches with brains and heart. I am not a football coach, but I know without a doubt I can coach defense better than John Chavis when he drops into the stupid a** prevent defense backing ten to fifteen yards (AT LEAST) off of receivers with over 5 or 6 minutes left in the game. If you really want to find the cause for the loss it is right there. Chavis is a fuking retard that doesn't want to admit that that defense never, absolutely never works the way he tries to use it. He is too much of an arrogant, and pompous a** hat to realize this. There were plenty of other mistakes that did not help matters any, but the root cause is that defense that gave up 17 points after the third quarter. Seriously, if none of you realize this to be fact, watch the game tape and see that I am right. I can't believe professionals can't see this. That pitiful defensive scheme lost the game. Ten points for most of the game then a change in philosophy and 17 points after that. There is the difference.

On Crompton doesn't start practice

How about this for religious comments: "As for me and my house, we shall server the Lord". As far as I can tell, going to church on Wednesday or Sunday or Saturday or Friday night seems to be a personal decision. Those of you who see fit to describe your areas or worship as well as those of you who see fit to rebuke(common Bible word, like how I snuck it in there-lol) that group for their particular worship tendencies all fall into one category. Busybodies. For good or bad, argue amongst yourselves. Just my opinion and in no way a suggestion of action: often times one does kindly to leave well enough alone. Or in other terms, you go your way and I will go mine.

On Pearl says schedule 'to send a message'

I didn't know who the guy was calling the game, but he sure seemed awfully lost. Almost every comment that came out of his mouth was inaccurate. Maybe he had a late night last night. It was good for a few laughs, anyway.

On East reruns await Vols

A good interview from CBP on his take of how much coaches make. He stated that he felt they made too much money. So if he really likes where he is, and his team really likes him, I doubt he would be going anywhere else for a little more money. Maybe for a higher profile job, but not money IMO. I hope he stays until the wheels fall off. Go Vols.

On Big picture, not poll, is Pearl's focus

Nothing? Just leave alone or you will make it worse? I know there were several people that voted for that one. So, how do you figure practicing something will make you worse at it? I don't follow. I have played several sports in my life, and when I wasn't good at something I practiced it and tried to get better. It works. I surely didn't just leave it alone and wait for it to come to me. Things like don't happen very frequently. I do not wish to call anyone stupid for there opinion, so please don't take my comments as derogatory in any way. However, the idea that not practicing is a better idea than practicing is a belief founded in pure fantasy. Everything that is done well, playing a sport, an instrument, writing, reading, communication, and on and on and on, all these things require practice. You don't just decide one day, unless you are a very gifted person, to pick up a task and become automatically efficient at it. I respect the opinions of others, I just happen to vastly disagree with a large demographic of people on this issue. I know we all want the Vols to continue to improve and I feel that they will do just that. Go Vols.

On Poll: What should UT coach Bruce Pearl do about the Vols' free-throw woes?
