I live in LA (just got my tickets for the game, UT section front row... yay.. sort of), but it shouldn't really be that hot. It's been in the 80s lately, and come a month from now, won't really get any hotter. Plus the game starts at 5pm local time, so by halftime the sun should be on it's way down. At night here, it actually becomes quite pleasant (high 60s to mid 70s). Should be great Cali weather for a UT beatdown of some Bruins!

Hopefully some NBA team will still make the gamble and take on a "project" "short" "overachiever" type player, because those are the gambles that if they pay off, do so big time. If not, I hope Chris is able to go overseas and do tremendously well over there.
I'd also like to give a big thumbs up to Griff for writing this article, and having the self control to not write "Ironically, the name of Mersin’s shooting guard last season was Bernard King.."

It's going to be extra difficult to catch him because he's so blurry! And pixelated! That should scare the crap out of the defenses.
Honestly, there's a new recruit and the best picture we could get of the kid is that one? Can someone not get on his myspace and find a higher res pic?

You know, I personally did not welcome the upgrades at Neyland at all. Well, the "addition" of the club seats anyway. Essentially what happened was money was spent to remove seats from the stadium, reducing the total capacity to make way for more expensive seats that generally go unused because all the fat cat boosters are too busy stuffing their faces with catered food, watching games on screens. Hows about you guys go down to the UC and eat a super expensive meal and watch it on the TV there and let fans who want to see the game live see it?
Not bitter.. at all.

Clawson so far is saying all the right things, but we'll have to see how it plays out. Of course, I felt a bit apprehensive about a new coach named "Pearl?" or something like that a couple years ago, so just goes to show you how much I know.

""wjackson: “I just love the tradition when they come out in the ‘T.’ I just get goosebumps all over my arm.”
Are we recruiting a guy with one arm? John Adams will be all over Phil on this. LMAO""
That comment is a bucketful of WIN!

why the hate for bloggers?
it's an arena for people to be able to read more opinions than that of the staff of one KNS (who are actually cool enough to go ahead and embrace bloggers instead of shunning them)

Way to butter up the Basketball Coach (who, admittedly deserves it, as CBP is doing a fantastic job), but directly on the heels of the Fulmer article (which you haven't responded to by the way, I suppose since some self-esteem was lost).
Let's just hope the basketball team doesn't start losing, or else we won't be able to overlook any issues the basketball players might have, and we might have to fire Bruce Pearl too.

I'll be honest, I have an unhealthy amount of disdain for John Adams, but overall, this article was good. Satire fits you better than "serious journalism" much like it does for myself.
Or perhaps all of your articles thus far have been in the realm of satire and no one has picked up on it. That's definitely possible, and if so, boy do I owe the man a huge apology. In fact, if he has been pulling off a humor column this whole time, I will name my new website (thanks to the coaching change will have to change), John Adams' Awesome Wit... dot com.
