I wonder if Pat saw something to make this decision that prompted her not to give Kelsey Bone the #2 player in the country a shot at that scholarship. That is the only thing I question. I love Pat the the Lady Vols, but she was still available.

All I have to say is that we are just reaping our benefits or rather lack of from a Fulmer Contract extension. This is his show no matter how you cut it. These are his coaching staff selections. UCLA should have been stomped in the ground by half time. For sure by the 3rd quarter. We let them live and paid for it. TFF (Typical Fulmer Football).

This will be my last comment on the matter, as we must go on. Again, I love everything about the state of Tennessee and of course I am a huge Vol fan and support them in every sport. I am also not a blind loyalist and I very open to criticize my favorite team if I feel they are wrong or if something wasn’t fair. ESPN has the best coverage of this call on line. The clock said .2 seconds just as Anosike grabbed the ball, while up in the air to get the rebound. This is where the clock froze. She didn’t get fouled until she came down with it. Saying that you must understand, .2 seconds is 5 times as fast as 1 second. This means if you just turn you head really fast from right to left, .2 seconds are gone. This also means in my eyes that the foul didn’t occur at .2 seconds but less. If the clock would have not froze, that game would have been over before she hit the floor with the ball. This is why I stated before that Rutgers really did deserve that game and it was a bad way to end a great game. Not Tennessee’s fault that it happened but it did happen. It is what it is, we got the win but as a fan, you got to feel some compassion to the Scarlet Knights after a great comeback. They made Tennessee play their game instead of Tennessee being able to play theirs in the second half. Pat and Vivian are good friends and I hope that Pat is open to understand this delima as well. I say GO Lady VOLS and it is good to be back as number 1. It now time to get back to business.

I love the Lady Vols like no other, but neither team deserved the way that game ended last night. Rutgers really deserved that win last night. It was a great game and very competitive and it was a classic until the way it ended. Neither team was at fault with the clock issue, but last night, C Vivian Stringer and Rutgers was the better team I am sad to say. They are a team to be reckoned with, no doubt about it, and I hope we don't have to play them in the NCAA tournament. My hat is off to that team.

I really respect Pat Summitt and this move shows why she is the legend she is. I love Parker but she is not bigger than the game or Tennessee Lady Vol basketball and Pat proved that. Huge props go to Pat Summitt!! She has gained even more respect from me and I am sure from the rest of her team. Big props go to my girl Alex Fuller ( a real cutie that can play) scored a career-high 19 points and Nicky Anosike.
