I walked into the Disney Sports complex in Orlando back in the early spring of 1999 and they had 4 Sears trophies inside a case, 2 of which were Tennessee's - 1997-98 Lady Vols basketball and 1998 UT football. It was pretty cool. The only way I see 2 at a time now is both basketball teams.

Don't forget about Dwayne Goodrich and Leonard Little. UT has had some model citizens alright.

Nah, we wouldn't be 4-0. Ainge would have telegraphed an out pattern and Florida would've scored on a pick six. Foster would have fumbled anyway. We'd be 3-1. Also, I still think the fumble against Auburn was Foster's fault. Foster's right arm just too low for the ball to be stuck in there.

99,
you seem like a decent (meaning not ridiculously obnoxious) gator fan and all that. My question is - why do you care who UT starts at qb?

The article says "Jonathan Crompton's struggles at quarterback have affected every aspect of the passing game, especially second and third options on a given pass play". It looks to me like our 2nd option is throw it 10 yards out of bounds. There is no 3rd option.
And we need Stocker so badly because he can show Warren how to drop 3 passes in a game, like he did a couple of weeks ago.

um, in case YOU didn't notice, we beat Wisconsin about 9 months ago ourselves, so that can't be saying too much. And that powerhouse Michigan just destroyed Miami, OH, 16-6. Please . . . go away.
And yes, we know, UT blows this year.

Travis Henry was never better than Jamal Lewis, unless Lewis was hurt. Not even close. When Lewis was healthy and wanted to play, UT has not had a better running back, except for maybe Chuck Webb.
And I think it's already a little late to get straightened out, since he'll be doing a lengthy stretch in a federal pen.

Well, who do we get, 99? BTW, do you look anything like Barbara Feldon or Anne Hathaway?

I can understand why Atlantans would be upset by Nashville being ranked ahead, especially since Atlanta does have all 4 major pro sports and a pretty good college scene too at Tech. However, why call Nashville "Nastyville" or "Trashville". Seems like a pretty good city to me. I have lived both places, and I can promise you I'd just as soon leave Atlanta traffic behind for Nashville any day. I can watch the Braves on TV. I would miss the Varsity and Taco Mac though.
