Play to tie! Sound familiar? Crompton played like it was the first game he had ever played. Clawson coached like it was his first game. I did not see ANY sign of excitement or desire with orange.
It was a pathetic effort after we had been led to believe things would be different. I guess it hurt so much because I had such high hopes we were actually going to be different. Dread seeing UAB. If we could not beat UCLA, we will have trouble with most everyone.
Pitiful excuse for an SEC team. Our only company is Mississippi St..
I'm ready for men's and women's basketball. At least we know they will give effort.

My concern is whether our new coaches will be allowed to coach. I am hyped up and ready to see a whole new approach to offense. If it happens, I will be really excited, but if we play the same old predictable offense, then it will be a long season.
I would love to see lots of crossing patterns and short turn-ins and turn-outs giving our receivers the opportunity to make plays instead of the long bombs down the sidelines in desparation which have a 10% possibility of being completed.
Crompton will be really good if he is given the opportunity to make plays.
UCLA is big because it gives us an insight into what to expect in the future.

Seems nafslov is misplaced. Certainly does not need to be on this website. You need to find a place you would be more comfortable in. If anyone does not like Peyton Manning, or even any of the Mannings, they have a real problem. This family is one of the very best sports has to offer, not just their talent, but the good people they are.
Of course, you can always follow Pacman in Dallas or some of the other nuts in sports.

The Lady Vols have been our most consitent winners, especially our basketball Lady Vols. They have earned the distinction, and it would be ridiculous to even thinking of taking it away.
I am very proud of our Lady Vols. Just leave them alone and let them shine!

Way to go Ladies! It is great to see deserving people receive their just rewards.
It is always great to be a Tennessee Vol and Lady Vol, and it is great that others recognize it.

Do we not have enough good news about Tennessee to fill this section? Why should I want to hear about who went somewhere besides UT?

It is evident Hopson2008 has no clue about women's softball. If you had ever taken the time to watch them, you would realize how good they are.
I would love to see you try to hit Monica or any of the other pitchers. I feel certain it would be comical. And of course, there is the option that if you do not like women's softball, spend your time keeping up with something else and keep your negative comments to yourself.
Monica Abbott was a great pitcher and great ambassador for Tennessee. We are still getting positive reaction from her.
The joke would definitely be on you trying to play against our Lady Vols.

Strange is the appropriate name for some guy who cannot accept a compliment for his city without some negative comment.
Some of us are very proud of Knoxville, even if we do not live there. We appreciate what all our teams and players have done.
Maybe Strange could find more comfort in living in some of those other places. I, for one, would not miss him.

The way we played tonight, maybe we should wear pink except that it could be an insult to our ladies because at least we can count on them to give effort.
I never saw the first hint of excitement by this bunch - either the players or the coaches. It was a deadhead bunch that appeared to be wishing they were somewhere else.
