Can I ask you a question, are you a Volunteer fan or a troll? I read a lot of the post on here due to the fact that being in Afghanistan I try to keep up on all Volunteer sports, but you seem to do nothing but talk negative about the Vols. Yes our team didn't meet expectations, but that doesn't mean the sun can't shine on a dogs rear end with the right coach coming in here and fixing it. If the players we have don't leave and can be coached up why can't they have a better season next year than this one. It's not impossible for that to happen. The guys on defense I do believe were recruited to run a 4-3 defense, I could be wrong so don't quote me on that, but to change into something more complicated doesn't make sense. They were raked 27th last year, so you think they stink, REALLY!! I for one hope that who ever they get comes in there and all your negativity comes back and bites you in the rear. Oh and trust me I'll be here Lord willing to see it and I will call you out on it. Go VictorOscarLimaSierra.

Yes he is! Coming to an NFL city near you on a Monday night. You clowns need to stop this. This is the same ut that went 6 or 7 deep looking for the last two hires. A new athletic director will not make that much of a difference. ut is still ut. An average program in a powerhouse conference. Accept mediocrity. That's all you can hope for.

Hallelujah!!! I thought I was the only one who thought this!! I'd prefer most on this list, and many others not on the list, ahead of Gruden. Can't undertand Vol fans' infatuation with him. Go look at his record at Tampa after year 1....not that great, under .500. Hasn't coached in college in 20 years, never a college head. He might excite some of our more short sighted, foolish fans, but he IS NOT the answer we need.

I believe this is the first time since 1909-11 that we've had 3 straight losing seasons and also the worst 3 year winning percentage since then as well.

I would like to think we can keep from losing 8 games for the first time ever but we seem to be setting all sorts of negative records.

UT's defense is 111th in the nation. It's near the end of the season where the stats can blast Sal. The stats are echoing what we all have known for some time now.
