Anybody else heard the rumor that we would give the coach at Boise State a look if we replaced Fulmer?

You know what...SCREW HIM! It's because of weakness we are in the predicament that we are in now. Let him stay home!

Look, I know it's an unsurmountable task we have before us, but did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? I'm telling everybody I work with that I'm flying down from CT to my own funeral. When in reality, for us to have any chance in this game, we need to control the clock and put together some long drives. That means getting off the line, punching them in the mouth and then running the damn ball down Florida's throat! We don't need Crompton to be Superman. All we need is for him to make some quick timely throws to keep them off balance. Miami provided the blueprint on defense. The front 4 has got to pressure Tebow, and the secondary has got to play smart. Yes, all of these things are easier said then done, but stranger things have happened. Anybody remember 2001? Oh yeah, please mark us down as a 21 point underdog! There have many times when TN has been favored, that they have underperformed and not shown up. However, I'm hoping this will be one of those times that Fulmer surprises us all (Anybody remember Georgia and Arkansas last year)!

I really hate it when a game comes out of break, you have the kick off, and then it goes right back to another break!

OrangePower11: No, that's a researcher for the show. He is actually a UT grad as well. In fact, the researcher, director, and myself were all on the show today (3 UT grads on a production ain't bad).

auttat: I don't know anything more than what was reported. The thing about it, is that anybody can call ESPN and schedule a tour around campus. They are given on a daily basis by my fellow employees (I have signed up my family on a couple occasions). I think UCONN used the close proximity as something of an additional recruiting tool. Not sure it's extra benefit since anyone can get it.

nafslov What do you want? You're in market 64 and local stations aren't going to pay a lot to bring outside talent in. I'm sure you can switch over to channel 6 for Jim Wogan and his awesome reporting, or whoever channel 10 throws on next from their Style show. Bring up some solutions instead of sitting in your tower and spouting off nonsense!

Look guys, I worked at VLT, and I worked with Russo. That guy has worked tiressly for upteen years covering the Vols. There is not a lot of money in local TV, but I know he put a lot of effort and emphasis into Vols Specials, travel, etc. People must like him, because he is the Sports Director for the official UT station and does sideline for the pay per views.

In regards to ESPN's coverage, I think a lot of the issues stem from ABC/ESPN having TV contracrs with BIG 10/Pac 10 (I know ESPN gets the games at night for the SEC as well) and CBS has the SEC. Especially with promotion, they do a lot of tie ins with the games they are covering. I find it repulsive, because nothing makes me sicker than to watch BIG 11 football or USC trounce some worthless PAC-10 school.
