capstone - so you are making up the rules? Whatever. I will pull for any SEC team not playing UT (yes - even UGA and FL) but I despise Bama and will always pull for the other team. Go Clemson!

Kids may not get as much of their news these days via the paper (hard copy or electronic) as when I was growing up but I can tell you that for those that do what they read influences their opinion of the football program. I still remember as much about the writers of the 60s and 70s as the players. Folks like Tom Siler and Marvin West (and let's not forget the Dyergram!) made Sunday morning almost as big as the game the day before. And some of these writers (and especially the late Gary Lundy) could be critical of the Vols at times BUT there was never a question as to the color of their blood and that is what is missing from John Adams! The KNS is making a huge mistake with this guy and future generations will not ever know the thrill of reading articles about the Vols they way that I did. PS - I don't need to hear about any of the koolaid crap - just stating it the way I see it.

Trouble - I usually don't say much on here and when I do it is something quick about the game, team or a play. Don't have much to say directly to the other posters because evryone has an opinion just like everyone has an ---hole and you sir are the real thing! Go root for Bama as I will root for the Vols no matter what happens. And no I am not a diehard Fulmer fan as I also was calling for his head after the Bama game last year. Since my first game watching them on TV back in '68 I have had orange blood in my veins and it will be orange until the day I leave this earth.

Thanks Gator. I also root for the SEC teams (except for Bama) and was pulling hard for Florida in their championship games in FB and BB. Lastly, as I tell a good Gator friend of mine - Gaffney didn't catch the ball but then you guys could point to the infamous penalty before our game winning field goal a few years ago - oh well! Have a good day.
