William has been in slated for the O-line since he got here. He took Eric Young's number and wants to follow in Eric's footsteps (without any more injuries!).

From a USA today article: "elsewhere in the SEC, students pay $95 for a season ticket at Auburn, $70 at Florida, $48 at Georgia, $35 at Kentucky and $84 at LSU."
Obviously the students at these fine institutions have been boycotting the football games since they have to pay for tickets.

What a bunch of whining crybabies. The poor little students have had their candy taken away and now they're pouting! Football is a big business that requires cash, and half price tickets for students is a pretty good deal. $90 is less than a month's worth of cell phone fees, yet how many "poor" students don't have cell phones? I would tell the students to grow up, but that would be the acme of redundancy.
I'm sure there are a lot of folks who would love section D, row 30 seats.

Actually, hdhurst, I liked your "essay". Write on. As far as the article and Pearl's response; facts are facts and Bruce is as realistic as they come. When Pennington sticks to facts, that's fine. When he lowers himself to the anonymous quoting of former players to make a point, that's another thing. Good lesson for the writers to take home. Not everything they put in print is appropriate or done well. If their stuff is well written and thought out I will read and enjoy, regardless of the conclusion. If I think it's gargbage and juvenile I'll respond as well.

JP has just shown a great deal of heart and class. Our of desperation he was put in a difficult position and did what all Vol fans ask for...he did his best. Just like the plaque in the locker room says JP did his best for Tennessee that night, and I look forward to two more great years from him.

It's only fitting after his great career at Tennessee that he becomes a high draft pick....wait a minute, didn't Fulmer kick him off the team? But Fulmer only disciplines second team players, right? I'm confused! Help me John Adams, help me understand!

I'm glad Phillip took the time to put that jerk in his place. Phillip is a man of great integrity, heart and character which makes him a great contrast to a smart aleck punk who masquerades as a sports editor. This is long overdue, and I'm sorry that a man with such class has to take the time to respond to the garbage that a sophomore punk sportswriter spews out.
