We've got the best secondary in the country and we are 3-6.
We need d-linemen, running backs that are healthy and don't fumble and a quarterback that doesn't blame the fans booing for his inability to throw the ball.
The bottom line with recruiting is that the next coach may not target these same guys anyway because DB's ain't gonna fix the offense or pass rush.
Oh, and will the last Colquitt to leave Neyland Stadium please turn the lights off and Think When You Drink?

We are on the track.....the train track and we are tied to it while the Florida, Auburn, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and probably Vanderbilt expresses prepare to run over us.

I've been as critical of Fulmer as anyone but it is not a 'tactic' to say they are dissing the Vols. Florida is a loudmouthed 21st century version of the Miami Hurricanes.
I never make predictions but I wouldn't count this as a lay-down victory for Florida. It wouldn't surprise be one iota if UT busts Florida in the mouth and takes this game.
For this week, I'm laying off the criticism of Fulmer and saying: Knock the d**k off the Gators!

Is that a play-sheet sticking out of the front of Chavis' pants or a menu?

How are you going to put the 6th or 7th or maybe even 8th best coach in the SEC on the sidelines and think you might win the conference?
Maybe Arian Foster, the philosophy major, can impart some wisdom on that question.
Do we honestly think that we are going to roll out the same crap every year and get gold?

Anybody that thought a Fulmer team would go 10-2 with his coaching and the team's schedule should be drug tested.
On ESPN First-Take they were laughing at Fulmer today and saying that between Pat Summitt, Pearl and Fulmer that Fulmer is definitely the runt of the litter.
For years, all of the harping came from local media but last night's debacle put the Great Pumpkin on the map as a national target of ridicule.
An ad in the local paper with comments from former players ain't gonna clean this stain. I feel sorry for the very talented players on this team like Eric Berry who stand no chance of even an SEC title, let alone a national title. After 3 or 4 more losses, the players will get that sinking feeling of going nowhere because they are being led by people with fat paychecks and no motivation to succeed.
Last year's Cal loss didn't bother me because we were underdogs and they had talent on offense that was as good as it gets. Last night's loss lets us all know just how far we've dropped on a national scale.
Southern Cal goes to Virginia, across country, in a similar type game and destroys the Cavaliers. Anybody think we are in that elite class now?
We will beat UAB and then Florida and Auburn will put the fork in the season for us.

Fulmer knows he won't be fired and he flaunts that in the face of fans by being overly loyal to certain players and coaches.
If he was truly on the hot seat, he would not sit back and allow the mistakes by players and coaches to continue without replacing them.
By the way, why didn't Cunningham just tuck that punt and get tackled so he could at least give the defense a chance instead of handing them 6 points? It is not his fault that the blocking allowed them to rush in free but it is his fault that when faced with three defenders 12 inches from the end of his foot that he didn't just eat the ball at that point. Of course, there will be no consequence until Jack Daniel, uh, I mean Britton Colquitt comes back from suspension.

The following are no-brainers:
1- We averaged 5.2 YPC and they couldn't stop the run so we should have run all night until they proved they could stop it and then throw more in the 4th quarter when their tongues were hanging out.
2- If your option on a 4th down is run a play, attempt a 50-plus yard FG or punt and you do not punt then you are an idiot for attempting the field goal. UCLA gets the ball at the spot of the miss so the logical thing to do is try to make first down or punt.
3- Harrass a third stringer from start to finish not just from start to halftime.
4- Start Hardesty and quit it with all of the love for Foster.
5- Throw to Brandon Warren, who would be an all-world TE for any other program but ours.
6- Get ready for losses to Florida, Auburn (away -does anyone honestly believe we win this game?), Georgia (see note on Auburn) and Alabama because Saban will out-coach Fulmer 100% of the time. To keep it safe hedge your bets on either Miss. State or the 'ole Ball Coach hanging a 6th loss on the boys in the orange pants.
7- Speaking of orange pants - don't ever, I mean ever, where them again. If they're not a curse they are a close facsimile.

Title Town would have to be Los Angeles with:
The Lakers, Dodgers, USC, UCLA, Raiders (at one point), Angels, Ducks, Kings and Rams.
There have been over 40 championships won there.

Dear Mr. Gordon,
Please accept my sincerest best wishes on a productive college football career. Unless you play quarterback, defensive line or running back, we are full up on DB's. We now have an excellent secondary on a 3-6 juggernaut that can intercept passes and turn it over to an offense that is being run by Stevie Wonder.
If you de-commit, please take all the other 5'2" cornerback commitments with you. We will be needing the services of people that can score points against Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and South Carolina not defend the pass against East Bumble High School.
Again, we wish you well in your future endeavors and hope to see you soon trying to stop our offense under new leadership as Mr. Wonder will probably not be retained.
Best Ragards,
